Reencontro entre Bob & Peter no Palco... A banda de abertura deste show foi Little Anthony & the Imperials. O renomado jornalista e historiador de Marley, Roger Steffens, relembra o show : No fim de semana seguinte, fomos de carro até Los Angeles para ver Bob no Starlight Amphitheater em Burbank. Foi um pesadelo entrar, porque só havia uma entrada e estavam revistando todo mundo. Perdemos a apresentação de abertura do The Imperials, mas encontramos nossos lugares bem na hora em que Bob foi apresentado. O show foi parecido com o de Cruz – pelo menos até os bis. Mais tarde, descobrimos que nos bastidores, naquela noite, estrelas como Mick Jagger e Diana Ross estavam circulando, tentando conseguir um convite para subir ao palco com Bob, mas ele não aceitou. Imagine nossa surpresa, então, quando Bob começou a cantar seu último bis, “Get Up Stand Up”, e, caminhando pelo palco com passos largos, Peter Tosh apareceu, justamente na parte da música em que entrava na gravação. “Anyone who wears hair extensions should be concerned.” Hair extensions worn by millions of women globally may contain chemicals linked to breast cancer, hormone disruption and reproductive harm, according to the largest study of its kind. Scientists found nearly 50 hazardous chemicals in nearly every sample tested in a range of synthetic and human hair products including wigs, braiding hair, weaves and wefted hair like clip-ins. The researchers from the Silent Spring institute in the US say a lack of regulation in the hair extension industry leaves the burden of ensuring safety on the consumer. "If they were never on the market, we would never have to choose," says Dr Elissia Franklin, the study's lead author. Hair dyes and straighteners have also been linked to increased risk of breast cancer in previous studies. However, unlike hair extensions, these products are regulated as cosmetic products and undergo safety tests. The findings, published in the American Chemical Society journal, have prompted calls for stronger regulation of the multibillion-dollar industry and greater transparency for consumers.
