Tesla (TSLA) is recalling all Cybertrucks produced and sold in the US over the past 15 months due to a safety issue with steel trim pieces that can detach from the vehicle. The company estimates that 1% of the recalled vehicles have the defect, which can create a road hazard and increase the risk of injury or collision. Tesla has not yet corrected the issue in production, but plans to replace the defective panels with new ones that meet its durability requirements.
