24 Hours in Wild Africa: How Day and Night Change the Rules of Survival | Wildlife Documentary : https://youtu.be/j5DE8gyOLlg Across wild Africa, every hour brings a different challenge. As sunlight moves across the savannah, heat, visibility, temperature, and animal activity constantly reshape the balance between predators and prey. At sunrise, the grasslands begin to stir. Herds move toward feeding areas and water, while lions returning from the night search for shade. Cheetahs use daylight and open terrain to observe movement from a distance, relying on clear visibility and carefully chosen moments. As the sun rises higher, extreme heat changes the rhythm of the landscape. Many animals reduce their activity, rest beneath trees, gather near water, or conserve energy until conditions become more favorable. For elephants, buffalo, antelope, and other large animals, finding shade and water can become the priority. Late afternoon brings another transformation. Temperatures begin to fall, shadows grow longer, and movement returns to the plains. Predators become more alert, prey gather into groups, and animals prepare for the uncertainty of the coming night. After sunset, visibility decreases and sound becomes increasingly important. Lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and other nocturnal animals use darkness, hearing, scent, patience, and knowledge of familiar routes to gain new advantages. But night does not belong to predators alone. Zebras remain alert within the herd, elephants protect younger members, and antelope respond to warning calls, unfamiliar sounds, and subtle movements in the grass. As dawn approaches, the balance changes once again. Animals adapted to darkness begin to retreat, while daytime species return to open ground. The same landscape now favors an entirely different set of senses and survival strategies. This wildlife documentary follows a complete 24-hour cycle across the African savannah, revealing how animals adapt their behavior as sunlight, heat, and darkness transform the environment. Join Claw Wildlife and discover how day and night continuously rewrite the rules of survival in wild Africa. ►Content Notice: This documentary is created for educational and entertainment purposes. The BEST Way to Grow Mulberry Trees (You'll Harvest More Fruit!)
If you're growing mulberry trees, this may be the best planting method I've ever seen. During my visit to Miami Fruit (https://miamifruit.org/) , Rain showed me his espalier trellis system for growing mulberries, and I immediately realized how practical it is. Instead of allowing mulberry trees to become massive and difficult to harvest, he trains them onto a trellis where every branch is easy to reach, easy to prune, and produces an incredible amount of fruit. In this video you'll learn: • Why espalier works so well for mulberry trees • How far apart to plant mulberries • How pruning encourages even more fruit production • Why keeping mulberries small can actually increase usable harvests • How you can grow mulberries along a fence line • Tips for training and maintaining productive trees This clip comes from my longer tour of the incredible Miami Fruit farm, where we explored dozens of rare fruit trees and growing techniques. If you love growing fruit trees, especially mulberries, mangoes, white sapote, black sapote, and other tropical fruit, be sure to subscribe for new videos every week. 👍 Like the video if it helped you. 💬 Have you ever grown a mulberry on a trellis? Inside Jamaica’s Sacred Ancestral Ceremony
#jamaica #jamaicaculture #Kumina #jamaicahistory #maroons Kumina is one of Jamaica's most powerful and least understood African-derived traditions — a religion, a music form, and a way of speaking to the ancestors that has survived nearly 200 years. In this video, we trace Kumina's true origin story, break down the music and movement behind the ceremony, and take you inside the annual Rebirthday ceremony held in Fairy Hill, Portland — an all-night ritual of drumming, dance, and ancestral connection that most Jamaicans have never witnessed firsthand. Unlike many Afro-Jamaican traditions, Kumina was not brought to Jamaica through slavery. It arrived after emancipation, carried by free Kongo people from Central Africa who came to Jamaica as indentured laborers in the 1840s–1860s. What they brought with them — the drumming, the language, the belief system — remains almost entirely intact today, still practiced in communities across St. Thomas, Portland, St. Mary, and St. Catherine. In this video you'll learn: 🥁 The real origin of Kumina and its connection to the Kongo Kingdom 🥁 How the bandu and playing kyas drums carry Kumina's rhythm and history 🥁 Why one of Kumina's drums was disguised as a rum cask 🥁 What "myal" possession means within the ceremony 🥁 What happens during the Rebirthday ceremony in Fairy Hill, Portland 🥁 How Kumina shaped Nyabinghi drumming and modern reggae and dancehall Thank you for watching this video. Inside The Music
Mighty Good: The Beatles | Unseen Footage And Historic Interviews | Full Documentary
*Mighty Good: The Beatles | Unseen Footage And Historic Interviews | Full Documentary* - No musical group has had a greater impact on pop music than The Beatles. In this groundbreaking documentary, Tony Palmer takes viewers inside the story of the band that changed everything. Through rare footage and revealing moments, the film captures their rise, their cultural influence, and the legacy that continues to shape music today. What happens when a visionary director tracks the absolute planetary shift caused by four working-class lads from Liverpool? In the groundbreaking, critically acclaimed 1977 music documentary Mighty Good: The Beatles, the extraordinary rise and lasting footprint of the band that changed everything is laid bare. Directed by the legendary music filmmaker Tony Palmer as a vital chapter of his definitive All You Need Is Love popular music history chronicle, this raw, intimate documentary cuts straight past the polished modern corporate mythos to deliver a historically authentic look at the Fab Four. The film features invaluable, close-quarters insights from the band’s iconic press officer Derek Taylor, tracing their sonic evolution from the early British skiffle craze and the grueling, amphetamine-fueled all-night sets in Hamburg’s red-light district to the sweaty, roaring frenzy of the Cavern Club and the historic 1965 US stadium tour. Rather than assembling a generic clip-show, Palmer masterfully weaves archival interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr alongside rare cultural footage to capture the pure gravity of Beatlemania, the psychedelic counterculture explosions of the Summer of Love, and the commercial madness of the ill-fated Apple Boutique. Join us as we unpack this rare, timeless musical masterpiece that maps out exactly how the most influential band in history permanently reshaped the global landscape of art, fashion, and pop music!
