These and other new facts, including serious misconduct by the prosecution, led to Young’s execution being halted just 8 days before it was due to take place. He is granted a new trial and freed on given bail to await his new trial. Clinton was 19 when he was imprisoned. He is now 38. After almost 20 years of solitary confinement, how do you adapt to life outside? In addition, the strict conditions of his bail prevent him from living in the same state as his family and even going to the supermarket across the road from his house. NASA astronaut Kjell Lindgren made several appearances in the DC area April 25-29, to share highlights of his recent five-month mission aboard the International Space Station. On Tuesday morning at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, he showed imagery from his spaceflight and answered questions. That evening Lindgren threw out the first pitch at Nationals Park before the Major League Baseball game between Washington and Philadelphia. He also attended the Tech Day on Capitol Hill event on Thursday that highlighted technology development and research being conducted on the station to help NASA achieve its future missions. TSMC posted quarterly profit that beat estimates. The main chipmaker for Nvidia Corp. and Apple Inc. reported a rise in net income for the June quarter to NT$706.6 billion ($22 billion), surpassing the average estimate of NT$623.7 billion. The steady growth highlights the company's central role in producing the vast majority of the world’s most advanced chips for data centers and smartphones. Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 47 Flight Engineers Jeff Williams of NASA and Tim Peake of the European Space Agency discussed life and science on the orbital laboratory with students from the School for the Talented and Gifted Magnet at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center in Dallas during an in-flight educational event April 26. The event, which included the ranking Member of the House Committee on Science, Space and Technology, Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-Texas), explored a variety of subjects including the scientific research being performed on the complex. Peake is scheduled to return to Earth in June, while Williams, who is in his fourth flight into space and third long duration mission on the station, will remain in orbit through September.

The US launched more airstrikes on Iran, hitting missile storage and launch sites on Greater Tunb Island in the Persian Gulf near the strait. The airstrikes took place after President Donald Trump pledged to intensify the bombardment until Tehran stops attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz and agrees to open the waterway.
