It's Still A Good Life TWZ131 In the small town of Peaksville, Ohio, the residents have lived in fear for over 40 years. Anthony Fremont (BILL MUMY - "Babylon 5," "Lost in Space") wields telepathic powers, keeping the citizens under his tight control. With his thoughts, Anthony can banish "bad" people away to an unseen cornfield--something he has done since he was a child. He even eliminated electricity, cars and buildings that he didn't like. So, everyone must think happy, good thoughts...always. Now, 40 years later Anthony has a young daughter, Audrey (LILIANA MUMY), who has powers even greater than those of her father. When Anthony's long-suffering mother, Agnes (CLORIS LEACHMAN - "Ellen," "Phyllis"), discovers Audrey's powers she hopes to use the child to get rid of her evil, destructive son. But young Audrey cannot harm the father she loves even though he sent Audrey's mother to the cornfield. Angered by her grandmother's plan, the little girl makes all of the townspeople disappear. Realizing he and Audrey are the only two people left in Peaksville, Anthony feels lonely, and his daughter restores everyone with the warning that they'd better all think good thoughts. Note: Actor Bill Mumy originated the role of Anthony when he was a child, and in this episode, his real-life daughter plays Audrey. Cloris Leachman also starred in the original version of this episode in 1961. The Monsters Are On Maple Street TWZ130 An explosion rocks a suburban community while a group of homeowners are in the middle of a meeting. Everything suddenly goes haywire: cars won't run, cell phones don't work, and all power to the area is shut off. Paranoia and fear mounts among the neighbors who believe they are under terrorist attack. Oddly, a family who just moved in down the street is unaffected by the power outage. Soon, the once peaceful residents have turned into an angry, violent mob. Only one rational man, Will Marshall (ANDREW McCARTHY - "Weekend at Bernie's") tries to stop the enraged neighbors who have now turned their thoughts to getting revenge on the new family. They set fire to the house, killing the occupants.Unbeknownst to the townspeople, this was a military exercise designed to see how ordinary civilians would react to a perceived terrorist threat.
