Srebrenica: The Massacre That Shook the World and Changed Nothing | Full Documentary
In the 1990s, the collapse of Yugoslavia triggered nearly a decade of war in the Balkans, leaving more than 100,000 dead and millions displaced in the worst European conflict since World War II. This documentary follows the final and bloodiest phase of that disintegration: from the Washington Agreement of March 1994 to the fall of Srebrenica on July 11, 1995, when General Ratko Mladic's troops breached the UN protection zone and systematically murdered over 8,000 Muslim men and boys in the largest massacre on European soil since 1945. While the United Nations watched and stalled, Sarajevo endured the longest siege of the 20th century at 1,425 days, until NATO's Operation Deliberate Force in August 1995 forced the warring parties to the table, ending the Bosnian War with the Dayton Agreement signed in Paris on December 14, 1995. Yet peace proved fragile: as the Kosovo Liberation Army, founded in 1996, escalated its guerrilla war against Serbian forces, the Racak massacre of January 1999 triggered NATO's Operation Allied Force on March 24, 1999, with 78 days of airstrikes that saw German jets in combat for the first time since World War II. Milosevic capitulated in June 1999, and Karadzic and Mladic were eventually sentenced to life imprisonment in The Hague, but with Bosnia's ethnic divisions frozen, Kosovo's independence still unrecognized by Serbia, and outside powers competing for influence across the region, the powder keg of the Western Balkans remains dangerously unresolved. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. Mega Prisons, Cartels, Total Chaos | Ecuador: The Narco Wars | Free Documentary World’s Most Dangerous Jobs - Cape Town’s Anti-Gang Unit: https://youtu.be/lXCRxJh4xEk Long considered a haven of peace in Latin America, Ecuador today is facing an unprecedented wave of violence. Prison riots, hostage-taking on live television and homicides by the thousands: the country is now in a ‘state of war’ against the narcos. The country is at the heart of international cocaine trafficking. To cope with the cartels’ stranglehold, the 36-year-old President Daniel Noboa has declared a state of emergency. We obtained exceptional authorization to follow the extraordinary operations of the police and army. Today, the entire state is mobilized to restore calm and order. But will this be enough? In Guayaquil, the country’s economic capital and largest port, the entire city is under cartel control. Amid containers full of bananas, we followed the army’s operations to track down the cocaine. The battle is also being waged in the prisons, which have been held by the Narcos for years. Our journalists were able to enter the high-security section of the Guayaquil prison. It was from here that Fito, leader of the “Choneros”, the country’s most powerful gang, escaped. In this all-out war against the Narcos, politicians and judges are on the front line. Luis Chonillo, the mayor of Guayaquil, has survived nine attacks. He is now permanently escorted by some twenty armed men, and his family has taken refuge in the United States. In spite of this, he refuses to abandon the inhabitants of his commune to corruption and gangs. Heidy Borja, a young magistrate, also faces threats and a lack of resources. At the Guayaquil court, she courageously leads her fight against organized crime. #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #ecuador ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-quality documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by renowned filmmakers working for renowned production studios. DISCOVER MALAYSIA’S STUNNING WONDERS – One of the World’s Most Impressive Destination | Travel Video
#exploretravel #discover #wonder Beyond the polished advertisements, this journey deconstructs an authentic Malaysia through geological and historical layers spanning millions of years. Positioned at the strategic crossroads of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, this nation is more than just a vacation destination; it is a vast archive of nature and humanity. Viewers will witness the dramatic contrast between the high-tech urban landscape of Kuala Lumpur and the 130-million-year-old rainforest ecosystem of Taman Negara—where the laws of survival still operate as they did in the primitive era. The true appeal of Malaysia lies in the mysteries few have touched: from the Langkawi archipelago, formed from the oldest sandstone blocks dating back 500 million years, to the hidden cave temples within the Karst limestone valleys of Ipoh. This is where the imprints of ancient trading fleets on the Strait of Malacca still exist through the multi-layered lifestyles of indigenous communities, creating an unmistakable cultural identity. Whether conquering the majestic granite mass of Mount Kinabalu or navigating the pristine coral reefs of the Perhentian Islands, every location offers a raw perspective on human adaptation to the power of nature. This video is an invitation to decode the soul of Malaysia through an objective field lens, for those who long to discover the true depth behind classic travel icons. 00:00 Intro: 01:31 Langkawi – Beautiful island archipelago, resort destination 04:23 Kuala Lumpur – Modern metropolis 07:15 Mount Kinabalu – The highest mountain in Malaysia 10:07 Ipoh – Historic town, limestone mountains, caves 12:51 Cameron Highlands – Tea-covered highlands, cool climate 15:15 Taman Negara – Ancient tropical rainforest 17:51 Batu Caves – Limestone cave complex & Hindu sacred site 20:26 Putrajaya – Administrative city, modern architecture 23:03 Sipadan Island – Diving paradise 26:01 Outro CODE MUSIC: RTC4WCWMPR8VKBYM, TIKUWTTCPH5EBXLZ, D5COAN1EG1CF4QLD, HIEOQXJTVIZS3UVO, K2ACGR3BGRBJLQIL, KBQ3NVSBUTVQ9ULT, KZLW3BJRPV8E3GXF, QRX2KE0QV9IVAMMN, LOO9IHAB585PLPPK, ZJ42ZQN8AECEGJTB, GAU1WXDYWYGOSV90, C0CNZJMLYD3TEMGI, AFEVGB6BR2JSHHAE, VQZUSR3ZINWDODIA, WG8LL504CUWVRTTS, LVI70AATYFDY2V6O, ZPGEBYKFIXFSGP0Y, CVLKCRUQWPMHV7B4, ECCMOJMMUALFATJT, 5LXJD6XJ5LT9S8QC, 0WYTFPQQQ4B85SH6,XUYTQMYTEJIDQTT6, AHDQ9KPJSAQ65YB2, 4URWGREJX1QHZ9EM, REN3BZYGFJ6TTVAR, MC8BVDFUQZCF8SMP, 9FJGVL3UJMZCTWND, RVXGL9IVKJZKXWCI, CWWKGRWGRX6472I5, OLPWBFDYFWEFGJIL, YOQSSJ1TVOTKOR1G

Jamaica’s Ironworks and the Question Behind the Industrial Revolution
What if one of the most important technologies in British history wasn’t British at all? Before iron ships, iron cannons, and the Industrial Revolution, Britain faced a critical problem: its iron was brittle, unreliable, and unfit for empire. History credits Henry Cort with solving this problem — but newly examined records reveal a different origin. This video uncovers the Jamaican origins of mass-produced wrought iron, developed by highly skilled Black metallurgists in the late 18th century. Their process — involving rolling mills adapted from Jamaican sugar technology — was later seized, transferred to Britain, patented, and rebranded as British innovation. Drawing from shipping logs, correspondence, industrial records, and military concerns, this investigation shows how stolen metallurgical knowledge removed a major bottleneck in British naval and industrial power — and how the original innovators were erased from history. This is not revisionism. It is restoration. Topics Covered: • Wrought iron vs cast iron • Jamaican ironworks and Black metallurgical expertise • Henry Cort and the “Cort Process” • Industrial espionage and imperial appropriation • Iron, empire, and military power • Why Black innovation disappears from textbooks #IndustrialRevolution #JamaicanHistory #BlackInventors #ErasedHistory #StolenInnovation #BritishEmpire #AfricanMetallurgy #HiddenHistory #Colonialism #HistoryMatters
