A veteran of four space flights, Lindsey has logged more than 1,203 hours in space. He served as pilot on STS-87 in 1997 and STS-95 in 1998, and was the mission commander on STS-104 in 2001 and STS-121 in 2006. Lindsey is a native of the greater Los Angeles area.

She launched to the International Space Station on the Space Shuttle Discovery with the crew of STS-128 on August 28, 2009. Nicole performed one spacewalk along with her STS-128 crewmate Danny Olivas with a total duration of 6 hours and 39 minutes. She returned on the Space Shuttle Atlantis with the crew of STS-129 on November 29, 2009, having logged 91 days in space.

The United Arab Emirates is leaving OPEC on May 1, dealing a blow to the group and its leader Saudi Arabia. UAE Energy Minister Suhail Al Mazrouei tells Bloomberg's Joumanna Bercetche that the timing is right because of the war in Iran. Ross Donihue and Marty Schnure set out to create the first map of the future Patagonia National Park on a National Geographic Young Explorers grant. Their goal was to create an interactive map to give people an on-the-ground perspective of what it's like to stand in one of the most ecologically critical areas of Patagonia, where a new national park is being created. Kopra, of Austin, Tex., served with the Expedition 20 crew as a Flight Engineer aboard the International Space Station. He launched with the STS-127 crew aboard space shuttle Endeavour on July 15, 2009 and returned to Earth with the STS-128 crew aboard space shuttle Discovery on September 11, 2009. During the two shuttle missions and tour of duty aboard station, Kopra performed one spacewalk totaling 5 hours and 2 minutes, executed assembly tasks with the space station and Japanese robotic arms, and conducted numerous science experiments.

Daan Struyven, Goldman Sachs Co-Head of Global Commodities Research, joins Bloomberg Businessweek Daily to discuss his team's latest oil outlook. Struyven and his team upgraded Brent to $90/barrel by the fourth quarter, citing lower Persian Gulf production, and ongoing Strait of Hormuz disruption. They now assume a normalization in Gulf exports by the end of June (vs. a prior forecast of mid-May) and see a slower recovery for Gulf production. However, a global recession is not in the team's base case unless the strait remains mostly closed in a "severely adverse" scenario.
