Trump Says He'll Be Indirectly Involved in Talks With Iran
Iran said it reached a “general agreement” with the US on the basis of a potential nuclear deal that would lift sanctions on Tehran and ease the risk of war in the Middle East. The two sides will each draft and exchange texts for a deal before setting a date for a third round of talks, with the Iranian Foreign Minister cautioning that the next stage would be “more difficult and detailed.” The negotiations have gained urgency since Trump deployed an additional aircraft carrier to the region amid warnings of a possible strike on Iran if talks — which could drag on for weeks — fail to produce a compromise. The US team is led by Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. Trump said on Monday that Iran wants to make a deal and that he’ll be indirectly involved in the discussions. #politics #trump #iran ---------- Like this video? Zuckerberg Arrives to Testify in Trial on Social Media Addiction
Mark Zuckerberg will testify at a trial over social media addiction and face questions about how Meta Platforms Inc. balances protecting young users and boosting revenue. The trial centers on a 20-year-old woman blaming Meta's Instagram and Google's YouTube for her mental health struggles and will serve as a test for thousands of other lawsuits targeting social media companies. Zuckerberg's testimony will likely revisit key decisions he made about design choices for Facebook and Instagram, company strategies related to children and teens, and internal communications about the potentially addictive nature of the platforms. #politics #us #worldnews #meta ---------- Like this video? Can 3-D Printed Drones Help Save Wildlife? | National Geographic
In South Africa's Kruger National Park and throughout much of Africa, rhino and elephant numbers are declining at a rapid rate, because of poachers. Authorities have limited resources to catch poachers and disrupt the illegal wildlife trade, and drones could help them. A worldwide competition, the Wildlife Conservation UAV Challenge, encourages the development of cheaper, easier-to-use drones, with the goal of detecting and deterring poachers before they strike. ➡ Subscribe: http://bit.ly/NatGeoSubscribe About National Geographic: National Geographic is the world's premium destination for science, exploration, and adventure.
