Writings by Karl Marx that supported a classless society inspired revolutionaries to organize. Under the leadership of Vladimir Lenin, citizens along with soldiers would overthrow the monarchy and form a new provisional government. However, more civil unrest would follow until Lenin and the Bolshevik Party took control. The 1917 revolutions led to the creation of the Soviet Union, the world’s first Communist State. Morgan Stanley's Gapen Expects Inflation to Peak in May or June
Morgan Stanley Chief US Economist expects US inflation to peak this year in May or June. He says the latest CPI report will keep the Federal Reserve on the sidelines for the rest of this year. The consumer price index rose 3.8% from a year earlier, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data out Tuesday, the most since 2023.
