SpaceX to start trading on Nasdaq Friday morning
Bloomberg's Ed Ludlow and Bailey Lipschultz break down the final developments from SpaceX as the company prepares to go public with a record-breaking IPO on Friday. Elon Musk's aerospace company raised $75 billion in the IPO, pricing 555.6 million shares at $135 each, according to a statement on its website Thursday. When asked about what's driving the interest despite the lack of current profits, Ludlow says that many investors believe that profitable opportunities that SpaceX have set out for the future, including data centers in space, may occur even sooner that the company is predicting. -------- Watch Bloomberg Radio LIVE on YouTube Weekdays 7am-6pm ET Saturday & Sunday 7am-10am ET WATCH HERE: http://bit.ly/3vTiACF Follow us on X: https://twitter.com/BloombergRadio Subscribe to our Podcasts: Bloomberg Daybreak: http://bit.ly/3DWYoAN Bloomberg Surveillance: http://bit.ly/3OPtReI Bloomberg Intelligence: http://bit.ly/3YrBfOi Balance of Power: http://bit.ly/3OO8eLC Bloomberg Businessweek: http://bit.ly/3IPl60i Listen on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with the Bloomberg Business app: Apple CarPlay: https://apple.co/486mghI Android Auto: https://bit.ly/49benZy Visit our YouTube channels: Bloomberg Podcasts: https://www.youtube.com/bloombergpodcasts Bloomberg Television: https://www.youtube.com/@markets Bloomberg Originals: https://www.youtube.com/bloomberg Quicktake: https://www.youtube.com/@BloombergQuicktake

Night Search for Whip Spiders | Explorers In The Field
While whip spiders are arachnids that fall under the arthropod phylum, they're not actually spiders. Whip spiders have eight legs, but the front two have evolved into antenniform legs that extend up to two feet long. These legs wiggle around like whips to gather sensory information, earning whip spiders their name. The arachnids also have appendages called pedipalps, which behavioral neuroscientist and National Geographic grantee Verner Bingman describes as being like "pliers with sharp teeth."
