Trump Says US Earning $2 Billion a Day from Global Tariffs
US President Donald Trump signaled once more that he would not back down from tariffs even as countries were coming to the negotiation table. He told a fundraising gala for House Republicans at the National Building Museum that the US was earning "$2 billion a day" and cast his sweeping levies as "legendary," despite them prompting a large market selloff and spurring predictions about a looming recession. Trump also spoke about his vision for the next US election, as well as how he's dealing with China and Russia. -------- More on Bloomberg Television and Markets Like this video? Jaroslav Kulhavy (CZE) Wins Mountain Bike Cross-Country Gold - London 2012 Olympics
📲 Subscribe to @olympics: http://oly.ch/Subscribe Jaroslav Kulhavy (Czech Republic) - wins the gold medal in the cycling mountain bike cross-country event at the Hadleigh Farm as part of the London 2012 Olympic Games (12 August). Nino Schurter (SUI) won silver in the event with Marco Aurelio Fontana (ITA) winning bronze. The first national mountain bike championships were held in 1983 in the USA. But the sport quickly grew in popularity in Europe and Australia. The first mountain bike World Championships, recognised by the International Cycling Union (UCI), were organised in 1990. Olympic recognition followed and mountain biking made its debut as an Olympic discipline at the Atlanta Games in 1996, with a cross-country event for men and women. The programme has remained unchanged ever since. It was in 2008 in Beijing that BMX made its debut on the Olympic programme. BMX is one of the fastest and youngest cycling disciplines. Its principle is simple: eight riders compete on a track filled with jumps, tight bends and obstacles.
