Gulf of America vs. Gulf of Mexico: Can Trump Legally Change the Name?
On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signed the “Restoring Names That Honor American Greatness” executive order. It changed the name of The Gulf of Mexico to The Gulf of America. But are presidents allowed to unilaterally change the name of a geographic location? In this video, we dive into the legal processes behind geographical name changes. We also explore how companies who work in the gulf are handling the new name change, and what it means for corporate communications moving forward. (Produced by Quincy Marks; Senior Producer: Andrew Satter; Executive Producer Josh Block). -------- More on Bloomberg Television and Markets Like this video? "Ice gives me the feeling of freedom!" | Speed Skating with Nil & Diego | Sliding Madness | Ep. 2
📲 Subscribe to @olympics: http://oly.ch/Subscribe The St. Moritz frozen lake was the unusual venue that hosted the Speed Skating competition. For most of the athletes that participated it was the very first time they competed on a frozen lake. In this episode, we follow the athletes Nil Llop from Spain and Diego Amaya from Colombia. Nil and Diego won the two silver medals in the 500 metres and in the Mass Start categories, against all odds. This Silver Medal was historical for both countries because it was the first medal ever won by each country in a Speed Skating Olympic Competition. On top and equally impressive is the fact that no Speed Skating rinks exist in either of their home nations and so Nil and Diego both have to live away from home, abroad, in order to follow their dream of becoming professional Speed Skaters. St. Moritz, Switzerland, January 2020, Winter Youth Olympic Games: Skeleton, Luge, Speed Skating, and Monobob are the 4 disciplines that were hosted in this alpine village. Young athletes participate in their first Youth Olympic Games. Not only the competition is important to them, but also friendship, camaraderie, and the Olympic Spirit. An unforgettable experience. _____________________________________________________ 🇨🇳 #Beijing2022 replays: https://oly.ch/B22Replays 🇯🇵 #Tokyo2020 replays: https://oly.ch/T20Replays 🗞️ News from the Olympic world: https://oly.ch/News
