Sixteen people have been killed in Australia’s worst terrorist attack after gunmen opened fire on Jewish people who had gathered to celebrate the first day of Hanukkah at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach on Sunday evening. Maros Sefcovic, the European Commission’s trade chief, says China has started granting licenses with lengthier terms to allow European companies to obtain critical minerals essential for industries including clean tech, automakers and defense contractors.
