Oil prices held below $90 a barrel despite a Wall Street Journal report that the IEA proposed the largest crude reserve release in its history. President Donald Trump warned Iran against laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He said the US would use the same capabilities it deployed against alleged drug-running boats in the Caribbean Sea "to permanently eliminate any boat or ship attempting to mine the Hormuz Strait." A group in Cambodia is using Gambian giant rats to find the nearly two million land mines spread out across the country. These UXOs (unexploded ordnances) injure hundreds of people every year. The rats are adept at sniffing out TNT and pointing their human companions to where the danger lies.
