Lover's Leap is situated on the South Coast of Jamaica in the beautiful bread basket parish of St.Elizabeth, Legend has it that in the 18th century Two Slaves Mizzy and Tunkey were inlove, but their slave master Chardley liked Mizzy and in a bid to have her for himself, he decided to sell Mizzy's lover Tunkey to another estate, but Mizzy and Tunkey fled to avoid being separated, how ever they were chased to a large cliff and in a bid to escape the lover embraced each other and leap of the cliff and that's how Lover's Leap gots it name. Lover's Leap sit 1700 feet above the Caribbean Sea approximately 520 m. above sea level.
