Jamaica is far stranger beneath the surface than its famous beaches and mountains suggest. Across just 4,200 square miles, the island contains glowing lagoons, radioactive mineral springs, unmapped limestone caves, underground rivers, submarine freshwater springs, cloud forests, submerged landscapes, and isolated ecosystems filled with species found nowhere else on Earth. In this documentary, we count down **10 of Jamaica’s most unusual geological, ecological, and scientific locations**—places where researchers have documented phenomena that seem almost impossible until the geology and science are examined closely. On the plains of Moab, Moses transforms Israel’s failed past into a final covenant appeal before a new generation enters the Promised Land without him.
