I went outside to film Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. In this video I share what Kingston looked like during the hurricane, what Jamaica experienced as Hurricane Melissa made landfall, and my personal experience as a journalist-youtuber documenting the storm. I also drove to Montego Bay the next morning to show the real situation on the ground. Many reports predicted Kingston would be one of the hardest-hit areas, but Hurricane Melissa shifted unexpectedly, sparing the capital from the strongest winds while devastating other parts of Jamaica. not my best idea... I decided to cover myself in fish blood and jump into one of the most shark infested waters in Nassau Bahamas and swim with sharks. Obviously a great idea. In this video you will see me teaming up with professional shark experts and shark handlers who brought me out to see to try swimming with the Carribbean Reef sharks, then trying to pet a shark, then hand feeding a shark and finally putting me in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean on top of a ship wreck before popping bags of blood and escaping from the cage to the surface.
