He's just opened a gourmet restaurant right in the middle of Paris' chic 16th arrondissement, near the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. There, he is trying to persuade French lovers of Haute Cuisine to sample some African flavours. BBC Africa's Peter Okwoche went to Paris for a tasting.

Former Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Richard Clarida, and now a global economic adviser for Pimco, says said the central bank risks creating uncertainty if it alters its preferred inflation measure without clearly communicating what policymakers are targeting. Clarida offered that caution on Friday on "Bloomberg Money" in the wake of Chairman Kevin Warsh’s suggestion for a review of possible alternatives to the US personal consumption expenditure core index, known by the acronym PCE. Duval Timothy, Folayemi Brown and Fodio Todd started The Groundnut as a supper club in South London, serving up their own unique recipes and cocktails alongside old favourites like mandazi and plantains. Following the success of their pop-up dinners, they wrote a book and got published by one of the biggest British publishers, Penguin. The BBC’s Peter Okwoche met them in a South London market in to find out more. BBC Africa is running a special week of radio and TV programmes about African food in Europe from 14-18 December.

Cooking African food with a European twist is London-based Ghanaian cook Fafa Gilbert's big passion. She has set up a YouTube channel - Ndudu by Fafa – to teach people her recipes. "Ndudu" means food in Ghana's Ewe language. BBC Africa's Peter Okwoche visited her kitchen to sample her creations.
