The-Complete-Story-of-Peter-_-The-Disciple-Who-Denied-Jesus-and-Became-a-Leader-of-the-Early-Church
This video tells the complete story of Simon Peter—from a Galilean fisherman and impulsive disciple to a restored apostle and leading witness of the early Church.
You’ll understand how Peter’s calling, failures, denial, restoration, Pentecost ministry, and later leadership reveal one of the Bible’s most powerful stories of transformation.
Simon Peter was bold enough to step onto the water, yet fearful enough to deny Jesus three times. He confessed Jesus as the Christ, resisted the path of the cross, witnessed the Transfiguration, drew a sword in Gethsemane, and then collapsed beside a courtyard fire. But Peter’s failure was not the end.
This full Bible story follows Peter from Galilee to Jerusalem, from the empty tomb to his restoration beside the Sea of Galilee, and from Pentecost to the expansion of the early Church. We explore his preaching, miracles, imprisonment, encounter with Cornelius, role in the Jerusalem Council, confrontation at Antioch, New Testament letters, and the later Christian traditions surrounding his death.
Peter’s story is ultimately about calling, failure, grace, restoration, leadership, and costly faithfulness.

**INTERPRETATION NOTE**
This documentary harmonizes events recorded across the four Gospels and Acts into a continuous narrative. Historical descriptions of Galilee, Roman rule, Peter’s possible thoughts or emotions, and transitions between biblical scenes include reasonable narrative interpretation where Scripture does not provide every detail. Later traditions connecting Peter with Rome, crucifixion, and specifically crucifixion upside down are presented as later Christian tradition—not as events directly narrated in the New Testament.
