Este conjunto está em circulação há pelo menos oito anos a mais que os outros
dois conjuntos que circulam.
Os Wailers começaram a turnê norte-americana Catch A Fire com uma viagem a Ontário,
depois, catorze shows no Paul's Mall, em Boston, de 9 a 15 de julho. Eles
em seguida, vá para a Big Apple para quatorze shows abrindo para Bruce Springsteen
no Max's Kansas City, no andar de cima. Eram dois shows por noite e três shows
no fim de semana.
É altamente improvável que estas tenham sido as primeiras aparições dos Wailers nos EUA,

Imperfeições:
Som decente, começa com um pouco de gorjeio e se estabiliza após alguns segundos.
Há uma quantidade moderada de ruído, mas o sinal é forte o suficiente.
Às vezes, o MAC parava entre as músicas. Neste ponto, não é
claro por que existem dois Kinky Reggaes e de quais programas eles vieram.
t1 - 0:00 - gorjeio por cerca de 10 segundos.
t1 - 1:36 - leve soluço.
t1 - 4:02 - (L) queda do canal por 2 segundos.
t5 - 0:00 - o início é cortado. Assim é o fim.
t6 - 0:20 - 13 seg. de baixa frequência estranha. Estrondo.

Notes:
This set has been in circulation at least eight years longer than the other
two sets which circulate.
The Wailers began the Catch A Fire North American Tour with a trip to Ontario,
then a fourteen show run at Paul's Mall in Boston from July 9th - 15th. They
then hit the Big Apple for a fourteen show run opening up for Bruce Springsteen
at Max's Kansas City, Upstairs. There were two shows per night and three shows
on the weekend.
It is highly unlikely that these were the first US appearances by the Wailers,
as they apparently did a mini-tour of New York and the Northeast the previous
December around New Years. All three recordings we have from this run are most
likely mastered by the same recordist. Definitely two of the three sets appear
to be either the same night or two consecutive nights. My guess is that these
recordings were made at the soundboard, if not through it, either by the engineer
or someone associated with the venue. This lends high hopes to the existence and
survival of the remaining 11 sets.
Flaws:
Decent sound, starts with a bit of warble, evens out after a few seconds.
There's a moderate amount of noise, but the signal is strong enough.
Sometimes the MAC was stopped between songs. At this point, it's not
clear why there are two Kinky Reggaes and which shows they came from.
t1 - 0:00 - warble for about 10 sec.
t1 - 1:36 - slight hiccup.
t1 - 4:02 - (L) channel drop out for 2 sec.
t5 - 0:00 - beginning is cut. So is the end.
t6 - 0:20 - 13 sec. of strange low freq. rumble.
