This initiative is made possible through the generous support of the Grindel Adventist Church in Hamburg, Germany, whose kindness is helping families rebuild after Hurricane Melissa devastated farms, destroyed chicken coops, and wiped out livelihoods across the island. Our first recipient is Mr. Melford Salmon, an elderly poultry farmer whose chicken coop was damaged during the hurricane. In this video, we deliver baby chicks, chicken feed, water pans, feeding pans, and with the help of Starry, we also begin repairs to restore his chicken coop. This is more than relief — it’s about restoring dignity, rebuilding livelihoods, and giving hope to farmers and families who lost everything when the storm passed through.
