Davos: HSBC's Roberts Says AI Won't Lead to 'Massive Layoffs'
Michael Roberts, head of corporate and institutional banking at HSBC, discusses geopolitical risks, the bank's restructure and the impact of artificial intelligence on staffing. "I don't think it'll lead to massive layoffs," Roberts says. "I don't think it'll lead to massive change in how we do things other than as to make it more efficient," he adds.
