Mighty Good: The Beatles | Unseen Footage And Historic Interviews | Full Documentary
*Mighty Good: The Beatles | Unseen Footage And Historic Interviews | Full Documentary* - No musical group has had a greater impact on pop music than The Beatles. In this groundbreaking documentary, Tony Palmer takes viewers inside the story of the band that changed everything. Through rare footage and revealing moments, the film captures their rise, their cultural influence, and the legacy that continues to shape music today. What happens when a visionary director tracks the absolute planetary shift caused by four working-class lads from Liverpool? In the groundbreaking, critically acclaimed 1977 music documentary Mighty Good: The Beatles, the extraordinary rise and lasting footprint of the band that changed everything is laid bare. Directed by the legendary music filmmaker Tony Palmer as a vital chapter of his definitive All You Need Is Love popular music history chronicle, this raw, intimate documentary cuts straight past the polished modern corporate mythos to deliver a historically authentic look at the Fab Four. The film features invaluable, close-quarters insights from the band’s iconic press officer Derek Taylor, tracing their sonic evolution from the early British skiffle craze and the grueling, amphetamine-fueled all-night sets in Hamburg’s red-light district to the sweaty, roaring frenzy of the Cavern Club and the historic 1965 US stadium tour. Rather than assembling a generic clip-show, Palmer masterfully weaves archival interviews with John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr alongside rare cultural footage to capture the pure gravity of Beatlemania, the psychedelic counterculture explosions of the Summer of Love, and the commercial madness of the ill-fated Apple Boutique. Join us as we unpack this rare, timeless musical masterpiece that maps out exactly how the most influential band in history permanently reshaped the global landscape of art, fashion, and pop music! We Climbed The Cliff That Buried a Town in 1692
#jamaica #jamaicahistory #judgementcliff We Climbed The Most Treacherous Part of Judgement Cliff — Here's What We Found We thought we knew what to expect taking on this section of Judgement Cliff. We were wrong. In this Part 2 follow-up, we (myself and Mr. Ogilvie) tackle the steep, unstable climb to the top of Judgement Cliff — battling loose limestone rock, brutal inclines, and the mental toll of not knowing if the next step will hold. What we found at the top, looking down into the crater, was worth every burning muscle. Judgement Cliff sits in Llandewey, St. Thomas, Jamaica — one of the most dramatic and least-understood landmarks in the country. In 1692, the same catastrophic earthquake that swallowed the pirate city of Port Royal into the sea also triggered a massive landslide here, burying an entire plantation and its owner beneath tons of rock and earth. Locals at the time believed it was divine punishment — God's judgement — for the plantation owner's cruelty, and the name has stuck for over 300 years. This time, we didn't just view Judgement Cliff from below — we climbed it. From thick bush terrain to stripped, jagged grey rock that looks like the earth itself was wounded, this hike pushed us physically and mentally in ways we didn't expect. If you missed Part 1, go check it out to see where this journey began. One Love Jamaica is dedicated to uncovering Jamaica's erased, overlooked, and underrepresented history and heritage — the stories that never made it into the textbooks. ISLANDS AT THE EDGE OF THE WORLD - Lands Adrift Across the Pacific Ocean | Travel video
Across the Pacific Ocean, thousands of islands are scattered across an area larger than all continents combined, but only a small number of them became giant worlds shaped by volcanoes, coral reefs, mountains, and deep blue waters. This travel documentary explores the hidden side of Oceania through massive islands surrounded by turquoise lagoons, isolated coastlines, and landscapes formed far away from major civilizations. From volcanic islands rising directly out of the ocean to remote communities living between cliffs, rainforests, and coral seas, the video reveals how life continues in some of the most isolated places on Earth. Many of these locations remained separated from the outside world for centuries, creating cultures, ecosystems, and environments unlike anywhere else across the Pacific Ocean. The beauty of Oceania is not only about beaches. Beneath the surface are underwater volcanoes, giant reef systems, rare wildlife, and islands shaped by tectonic forces over millions of years. Some islands receive only a small number of visitors each year despite having some of the clearest blue waters in the world. Others became important historical crossroads connecting Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Ocean. #travelvideo #exploretravel #oceantravel 00:00 Intro 01:19 Hayman Island – A resort island within the Great Barrier Reef coral system 04:00 Bora Bora – A volcanic island set in a turquoise lagoon 06:48 Saipan – An intersection of tropical geography and Pacific history 09:07 Moorea – A volcanic island with deep bays and sharp peaks 10:58 Aitutaki – A wide lagoon with an ancient coral atoll structure 13:18 Viti Levu – The core of terrain and daily life in Fiji 15:30 Waiheke Island – A wine island in the Hauraki Gulf 17:42 Mamanuca Islands – A chain of small islands in open waters 19:55 Hamilton Island – A transit point between the reef and luxury resorts 22:21 Vanua Levu – A pristine space between forest and sea 24:22 Grande Terre – A large island with the world’s longest lagoon 26:33 Guam – A junction of military, culture, and seascape 28:46 Tahiti – The center of the Polynesian tourism network 31:15 Whitsunday Islands – A fragmented archipelago in turquoise waters 33:22 Espiritu Santo – A large island with clear blue water and historical traces 35:24 Lifou – Coral cliffs and deep blue lagoons 37:39 Great Barrier Island – A remote island near urban areas with pristine ecosystems 39:36 Maui – A volcanic island with clearly layered landscapes 41:46 Raiatea – A sacred island with ancient volcanic structure and shared lagoon 44:15 Yasawa Islands – A chain of limestone islands stretching across deep ocean waters 46:54 K'gari (Fraser Island) – A massive sand island with rainforest growing on sand 48:53 Outro SOUNDTRIPE MUSIC CODE : QGT6QRXOHEJA6QOH, M8GWNIER1UJYV8LN, Z7BCEA2FHD3JIDOV, KG81ASYH9CRGR3SW, MCYJZUHGXQYGTA6R, WRFXN84VWMEGTDB7, KGJCMTC8BB9OAET4, RTKKTJPYPCWDDQRD, RLCGGH9IO8EGAZUJ, 7DK29YHFNG8SYNI5, XSDC6JA2G9BHYCV3, APSSE2Q1LGMM4SJD, DH5XNDIAEHMSM8FY, YZHVEAHI742E21JR, JYROFQ435KLQHJTC, C2RYI7SNL9YRTHE6, IBVBP2IAXRAQWTVQ, HNBWFYBVN5RJ5EV0, LZOHVWB6II9NKBPG, XBGARE2S2AVHXKEF, XHQ4XEWGV7ELN126, 8JVRAHRLZSMOXXBE, N24R2J0JUWABQIQ0,F2DVWDQTEHCOGEMF,JME9O3OSIZ1FIJ9Z, BQYBURW2PEJXGKNY, WVRAWYLAUNXTKN7E, ZSAZYGXJ5RXAM495, 3IV1WMYRPD8N6MPI, BKGVZHHQXAVOZCWN,STXWJXXDPR0T4YIM ,ZPRRBDXPWLCC2UKI,1L3Y2SOHYELAU706,OAVRR16ARVZG7FRU GGI0F718TMHAY1UC,6BHRRRPBPULOCVRZ,ZFX2SMF0KRKPL2EM,KIJL5NNZRW8DO90V, N9KL4VZBAQFRXDRO, S04GOT0ZQULQHOZT, 0CUPWF3NBTCSWYJI, 020PTKYFSZCYB8UC, CXLFOPW52NSQXWJM, EGCQRHUY2UGX09EB,7GGCJAOUDJOHOU6I, H6Z5YKG73QD8E1T3, ZF3PZNPDAU2LHDXE, 2D9EO8D8CLCLCCUV. WE VISITED MS.NICOLA GOWDIE IN CRANE ROAD BLACK ST.ELIZABETH JAMAICA 7 MONTHS POST HURRICANE MELISSA
Seven months after Hurricane Melissa devastated parts of Jamaica, we traveled back to visit Ms. Nicola Gowdie and her family to see how they are surviving after losing their home to the powerful storm. Many people around the world may remember Ms. Nicola from the heartbreaking videos and reports that were featured on major news stations including Fox News and CNN after the hurricane struck. When we first met Ms. Nicola just 2 days after the hurricane, the situation was heartbreaking. She and her family had gone days without food or water, struggling to survive after everything they owned was destroyed. By God’s grace, we were able to be the first people to bring food and support to Ms. Nicola and her family during one of the darkest moments of their lives. In this video, we revisit her seven months later to see the progress, the struggles that still remain, and to remind the world that families affected by disasters still need help long after the cameras stop rolling. Thank you to everyone who continues to support these families through your prayers, donations, and kind words. Please watch, share, and continue supporting families in need across Jamaica. ❤️ #HurricaneMelissa #Jamaica #BlackRiver #CraneRoad #NicolaGowdie #HurricaneSurvivor #DisasterRelief #RebuildingLives #JamaicaNews #CommunitySupport #StormRecovery #HumanityFirst #HelpingOthers #CaribbeanNews #LifeAfterTheStorm #JamaicanFamilies #WeatherDisaster #SupportJamaica #GivingBack #RealLifeStories #shanzenzen
