This island kills you if you breathe... Gruinard Island aka Anthrax Island is in the North West of Scotland and was contaminated in Anthrax when it was used as a testing site for biological weapons. The island was recently set on fire (a method used many times to clean Gruinard island from Anthrax) which has raised the question on whether this was another deliberate attempt to clean the island after saying it was supposedly cleaned. The fire happened at a very strange time. I uploaded a video about this island years ago and when that video went viral, it brought a lot of attention to the location and the history of the island, and quite importantly, it showed that it was still possible to land on Anthrax island. Since then I have been wondering did my video have something to do with this fire... Let's find out.

I made some BIG changes to my South Florida tropical fruit tree yard! Trees have been removed, new fruit trees are going into the ground, mango trees have been heavily pruned and top-worked, and I'm making some difficult decisions as I run out of space. In this September 2026 fruit tree yard update, I'll take you around my home yard and Mango Land to show you exactly what's growing and what I've changed. You'll see mango trees, jackfruit, white sapote, black sapote, mamey sapote, mulberries, avocados, persimmons, gummy worm fruit, canistel, star apple, rollinia and much more. I'm also showing you some of the mistakes I've made with fruit-tree spacing and why I've changed my thinking about planting trees too close together. I'm trying to create a long-term fruit-tree legacy where every tree has enough room to grow and produce. One of the biggest additions is my Dolores mango tree. After tasting this incredible late-season mango, I knew I needed to get one into the ground. I also show some of my successful mango grafts and trees I'm considering completely top-working to better varieties. “Wild Spain. Animals who also live in societies, take care of their families, think, and feel emotions as our two filmmakers do. Over 52 minutes, the spectator follows the singular journey that the two filmmakers make through the Spanish territory in search of the most untamed nature, and with the firm intention of capturing the very essence of the wildlife of this country. Spain is one of the European countries with the greatest biodiversity of fauna and flora. It has 85,000 species of flora and fauna, and inhabits more than 50% of European animal species. On their journey, they enter the pristine forests of Navarre and the silent steppes of La Rioja, follow the flow of the Andalusian rivers, climb the peaks of the Pyrenees, sail the coast of the Balearic Islands, and dive deep into the waters of the Alboran, the Mediterranean, and the Cantabrian Seas. This documentary is an intimate story of the emotions the two cameramen experience living with the animals of this wilderness, while they are simultaneously explaining the behavior of the animals to the viewer. The aerial combats of the bearded vultures, the games of the otters, the social life of the pilot whales, the oasis effect of the loggerhead turtle, the hard winter of the fox, the hunting technique of the jellyfish, the journeys of the migratory birds or the return of the beaver, are just some of the wild stories shown in this documentary.

Barbados has a sealed church vault at the center of its most famous coffin legend, a plantation ledger recording a 40% death rate for the enslaved workers who built one of the oldest colleges in the Americas, and a surf break that is still pulling swimmers under today. This list is built entirely from parish registers, colonial census records, and government archaeology reports. Every one of them has a body count. In this video, we explore: → The 1740 plantation ledgers behind one of the oldest theological colleges in the Americas, and the 40% death rate they recorded. → The reef that has swallowed over 200 ships since 1666, and is still charted as a hazard today. → The British fort where roughly 80 soldiers per 1,000 died, and the governor traditionally credited with draining the ground in 1817. → The 1,000 foot cliff carrying a suicide legend no parish register has ever confirmed. → The pirate's castle, the reef wrecks he may not have actually caused, and the 2010 fire nobody ever explained. → The 1816 rebellion that ended with as many as 1,000 dead and a toll historians still can't fully reconcile. → The 1780 hurricane, the deadliest on record, that killed over 4,300 people and leveled the church that still stands in Bridgetown today. → The 1854 epidemic that killed over 20,000 people, roughly one in six on the entire island. → The 370 year old plantation house whose family is linked to an estimated 30,000 enslaved deaths across Barbados and Jamaica. → The surf break with a standing no swimming order and a documented history of pulling people under. → The largest excavated slave cemetery in the Americas, with over 570 burials mapped by ground-penetrating radar. → The WWII ship torpedoed in Barbados waters in 1942, then finally sunk with 43 dead in 1944. And at number one: the Chase Vault at Christ Church Parish Church in Oistins, the most famous story in Barbados. According to accounts passed down, a sealed marble tomb was opened repeatedly between 1812 and 1820 and the heavy lead coffins inside were found thrown from their places each time, even after the governor pressed his signet ring into the cement to catch any tampering. What the documented record actually holds is narrower: investigations in 1907 and again in recent scholarship found no trace of the movements in the parish burial register or any newspaper of the day. The coffins were removed and the marble vault has stood open and empty ever since. You can still visit it in the churchyard today. Global ride-hailing giant Uber started operating in Africa in 2013, with South Africa as its first market on the continent. Since then, it has expanded to several African countries. But in recent years, the company has scaled back its operations in some markets. Uber has now announced it is leaving Nigeria and Uganda, following similar exits from other African countries. The company says it made what it described as a difficult decision after a review of its business.
