I don't know if you knew but there are white lions! Look here: One regular brown lion and one rare white lion. The white variety are real life shinies! There are only fewer than 300 white lions in the wild. But they are not albino but have a condition called leucism, in which their bodies make very little pigment of any kind. Both mother and father lion have to carry and pass on the rare recessive gene so that lion happens to be white. Survival in the wild is more difficult for them as they stand out more against the yellow-brown savanna they call home due to their striking, almost entirely white fur. They typically also have blue or light-colored eyes, a pinkish nose, and a blonde to near-white mane. - on which you notice every dirty spot.
