TALLONN ZEPARTI | LIFE OF ZEPARTI
97 and loved by MILLIONS:the pain and secret behind the chin family story
Before the millions of views, before the viral recipes, there was Jamaica… Tallonn Zeparti sits down with internet-favourite Grandma Aileen Chin of Chin Family from Jamaica for a story filled with food, family, laughter, heartbreak, and memories that span generations. From baking and cooking in Jamaica to gathering around the table and sharing good food, food has always been more than something to eat for the Chin family...it became a way of bringing people together, preserving memories, and keeping their Jamaican roots alive. At 97 years old, Aileen opens up about her life in Jamaica, the struggles her family faced, and the heartbreaking decision to migrate to the United States. With her daughter Maxine and grandson Lucas helping carry the family story forward, Tallonn uncovers a journey where family, food, business, and resilience became connected in ways that few people ever get to see. There is laughter. There is delicious food. There is nostalgia. But behind the smiles are sacrifices and difficult moments that shaped the family forever. How did a Jamaican family turn generations of food, memories, and perseverance into a story that would eventually reach millions of people? Tallonn goes inside the Chin family journey to find out. This isn’t just a story about food. It’s about the people around the table, the memories created there, the businesses built from the ground up, and a family that refused to give up. Watch Life of Zeparti and discover the story behind the family millions have come to love. 13 Creepiest Places in the Bahamas with Disturbing True Stories

13 Creepiest Places in the Bahamas with Disturbing True Stories
The Bahamas hides most of its dead underwater, out past the reef line where the record is thin and the sea keeps its own count. Two lighthouse keepers vanished off a bare rock and were never found. A galleon broke apart on the reef and lost around six hundred people in a single night. A hole in the sea floor drops more than six hundred feet straight down and has killed the people who misjudged its edge. These are not legends. They are documented, and several of these places are open to visitors right now. In this video, we count down all thirteen: → The Queen's Staircase in Nassau, sixty-six steps cut through solid limestone by six hundred enslaved people between 1793 and 1794 → The Great Bahamas Hurricane of 1929, which sat over Nassau and Andros for three days and killed around 134 people, most of them sponge fishermen lost at sea → The Norman's Cay plane wreck in the Exumas, left behind when a Colombian trafficker held an entire Bahamian island by force from 1978 to 1982 → The shark attacks in the bright shallow water off Rose Island, including a fatal 2019 snorkeling attack → The Devil's Backbone reef off Eleuthera, which has broken ships for over three hundred years and still requires a licensed local pilot to cross → The wreck of the Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas on the Little Bahama Bank, where around six hundred of six hundred and fifty aboard died in 1656 → The Lucayan Caverns of Grand Bahama, six miles of underwater tunnel where divers found the skeletal remains of the islands' first people → Dean's Blue Hole on Long Island, 663 feet deep, where American freediver Nicholas Mevoli died during a 2013 competition → The wreck of the El Faro off Acklins and Crooked Island, an American cargo ship that sailed into Hurricane Joaquin in 2015 with the loss of all thirty-three crew → Flight 19, the five Navy aircraft that vanished off Bimini in 1945 and gave the Bermuda Triangle its founding story → The blue holes of Andros, mapped shafts falling into darkness through a layer of toxic gas → Marsh Harbour on Abaco, where Hurricane Dorian erased a settlement of thousands in two days in 2019 And at number one: Great Isaac Cay, a bare rock about twenty miles north of Bimini. On 4 August 1969, a supply boat reached the lighthouse and found the station deserted. The two keepers who lived there were gone, nothing was disturbed, no boat was missing, and no bodies were ever found. No explanation was ever confirmed. The lighthouse still stands, and no one has lived on the rock since. Subscribe for more of the Caribbean's buried, forbidden, and unexplained places. Elite Jamaica
This is where your Tap water comes from.
Deep in the mountains of Jamaica lies something most people in Kingston probably never think about — a network of dams, pipelines, and waterways that helps supply the capital city with water. On this journey through the forgotten community of Windsor Forest, I went looking for these hidden pieces of Jamaica’s water infrastructure. But along the way, I discovered much more than I expected — forgotten colonial-era ruins, old bridges, plantation history, and a road that eventually turned an ordinary adventure into a serious challenge. How does water from these mountains make its way toward Kingston? And what else has been hidden in this remote part of St. Thomas? Join me as we explore Windsor Forest and uncover the forgotten history, infrastructure, and stories buried deep in the Jamaican mountains. The capital depends on water. But few people ever see where that journey begins. #Jamaica #Kingston #JamaicaHistory #HiddenJamaica #WindsorForest #StThomasJamaica #JamaicaExploration #JamaicaAdventure #KingstonWater #JamaicaDams #JamaicaTravel #JamaicanHistory Most people in Kingston turn on the tap without ever thinking about where that water comes from. 💧🇯🇲 Deep in these mountains is a network of dams, rivers and pipelines connected to the water supply that serves the capital. Would you have ever guessed that something this important was hidden away in a place like Windsor Forest? Tell me in the comments — did you know about this part of Jamaica before watching this video?
