Lions vs Buffalo | Deadliest Battles for Survival | FULL EPISODE | Wildlife Documentary
Lions vs Buffalo | Deadliest Battles for Survival | FULL EPISODE | Wildlife Documentary. Dawn in the Kalahari, and a pride of lions lies pressed together in a dry riverbed at twelve degrees Fahrenheit, kings of a hot continent living like exiles in the frost. Across nearly five hours of chained chapters, the African lion meets the one prey that fights back as a herd, the Cape buffalo, in two full savanna chapters, with two chapters of ocean hunters in between. The first hour asks a question no wildlife film usually asks: why can the African king not live without a pride, while the king of Siberia cannot live with anyone? Through cinematic footage and educational storytelling, it follows two huntresses along the Nossob riverbed as a gemsbok turns four foot horns on them and wins, then reveals the pride contract that decades of Serengeti data uncovered: prides exist to hold territory and to guard cubs, not to hunt better. In the Kalahari that contract is squeezed to the limit, prides down to two or three females, territories of five hundred and sixty five square miles, a week without water, and a menu where the number one prey by count is the porcupine. On a moonless night the Etosha formation, wings driving and centre waiting, turns a failed hunt into a full kill. And at the edge of the dark, the rarest hyena on Earth waits alone for the king to finish. Then the story crosses to the taiga of Sikhote Alin, where the Amur tiger needs four hundred square miles to himself and eats like an accountant, burying his kills in snow. Wolves, the last animals daring the answer of numbers, howl only where no tiger walks. A thirty pound wolverine runs a meat bank of six caches and bluffs a wolf pack off a carcass. And the Ussuri brown bear follows tiger tracks to tax his kills, until king and bear meet over a buried carcass in a fight where, across forty five recorded encounters, neither side is safe. 0:00 Two Kings, One Law 0:24 Frost on the Kalahari 1:31 Two Huntresses and a Gemsbok 5:19 The Pride Contract 7:45 A Week Without Water 10:20 The Etosha Formation on a Moonless Night 12:48 Prey Number One: the Porcupine 15:01 The Brown Hyena That Waits 19:27 The Taiga: a King With No Pride 22:06 A Crack in the Ice 24:45 Eating Like an Accountant 26:31 Wolves: the Alpha Myth 31:02 Isle Royale: the Moose That Stands 34:31 Where Tiger Tracks Thicken, Wolf Tracks Vanish 39:03 The Wolverine and Its Meat Bank 41:56 Bluffing a Wolf Pack 45:03 The Bear That Taxes the King 48:12 Tiger vs Bear 50:49 The Law Rewrites Itself 53:14 From Thirty Tigers to Seven Hundred and Fifty 56:56 Lions vs Buffalo: the Herd Fights Back 1:54:45 Ocean Hunters: Predators of the Open Sea 2:52:34 Lions vs Buffalo: the Last Waterhole 3:50:23 Ocean Hunters: Giants of the Deep Epic Moments in This Documentary: A gemsbok stopping two lionesses with four foot horns in the frozen Kalahari A pride of lions sleeping in a dry riverbed at twelve degrees Fahrenheit The Etosha formation closing on a gemsbok herd on a moonless night A lion circling a porcupine, the most common prey in the Kalahari A brown hyena waiting out the whole pride for the leftovers An Amur tiger losing a wild boar to a single crack of thin ice A wolverine holding a deer carcass against a full wolf pack A brown bear following tiger tracks straight to a buried kill Tiger vs bear over the last store of food in the taiga winter Lions closing on a buffalo herd as the cows turn to defend a calf A buffalo mother flinging a calf clear of two lionesses Ocean hunters working the open water in formation The pride returning to the buffalo herds at the last waterhole Two thrones, two continents, one law: the king only signs what the land underfoot has already written. In the north that law was rewritten by one signature, a 1947 hunting ban that took Amur tigers from a few dozen to seven hundred and fifty. In the south, around twenty three thousand adult lions remain on seven to eight percent of the land they once held. This documentary contains raw, unfiltered footage of nature at its most intense. How Saddam Hussein Built A Dictatorship That Survived War And Rebellion | Full Documentary
Papa Doc: https://youtu.be/n28SNnGNAzM This is the story Saddam Hussein, a man thought to be more sadistic than Hitler, and how he rules Iraq with an utter contempt for humanity for 23 years. This historical documentary looks at how the extreme pleasure he derives from limitless cruelty plays a significant part in his transformation from a violent young street thug to one of the most notorious dictators in the Middle East. How with patience throughout the 1970s he skilfully manoeuvres himself into power and the horrifically violent acts he commits in order to keep his iron grip on the nation – including genocide. And how his megalomania reaches such epic heights he believes he can get away with anything, bringing him into direct conflict with almost the entire world. -- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. Two Islands, Two Worlds: The Mystery of the Wallace Line | Full Documentary
Between the Indonesian islands of Bali and Lombok lies an invisible boundary that has puzzled scientists for more than 150 years. Naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace discovered that islands separated by only a narrow stretch of water could contain radically different wildlife - Asian species on one side and Australasian species on the other. His observations helped shape revolutionary ideas about evolution and natural selection. Now marine biologist Matthias Kopfmüller and his team return to Wallacea to discover whether this mysterious biological frontier continues beneath the sea. Diving rarely explored reefs and powerful currents, they collect corals, fish, plankton and DNA samples while encountering manta rays, extraordinary marine life and giant reptiles on land. Their expedition ultimately searches for evidence of something Wallace could never investigate himself: a hidden marine boundary separating two worlds of life beneath the ocean. #wallace #indonesia #expedition #nature Thumbnail Credits: ZDF/Terra X/Tobias Schultes/WENDEVARGA/Nikolai Holzach/Jochen Schmidt, CC BY 4.0, bearbeitet. Battle for Survival: Nature’s Greatest Fight for Survival | Wildlife Documentary
Battle for Survival: Nature’s Greatest Fight for Survival | Wildlife Documentary : https://youtu.be/XrSqmfslX54 In the wild, survival is never guaranteed. Every hunt, escape and defensive move can shift the balance between predator and prey. Across some of the world’s most challenging habitats, predators rely on speed, strength, stealth, patience and cooperation to find food. But their prey have evolved their own remarkable defenses — horns, powerful kicks, camouflage, numbers, awareness and the ability to react in an instant. A lion may dominate the African savannah, but choosing the wrong target can turn a hunt into a retreat. A cheetah’s extraordinary speed means little if the chase lasts too long. Crocodiles control the water’s edge through patience and ambush, while herds can transform individual vulnerability into collective defense. And sometimes, the balance changes completely. Prey stand their ground. Herds return to protect vulnerable members. Rivals appear. Terrain changes the advantage. A predator that seemed to control the encounter may suddenly be forced to reconsider the hunt. This is predator vs prey — not simply a contest of strength, but a constantly changing calculation of energy, timing, risk and opportunity. From the African savannah to rivers, forests and other wild landscapes, every species has evolved a different strategy for staying alive. Some survive by hunting. Others survive by escaping. And some survive by becoming too dangerous to attack. In this wildlife documentary, Claw Wildlife explores nature’s extraordinary fight for survival and the moments when the balance between predator and prey can change in seconds. Because in the wild, being powerful is only an advantage — until the situation changes. Subscribe to Claw Wildlife for more documentaries exploring predator vs prey, animal survival and the remarkable strategies that shape life in the wild. ►Content Notice: This documentary is created for educational and entertainment purposes. 14 Forbidden Places in the Caribbean You're Not Allowed to Visit
The Caribbean hides a capital city buried under 12 metres of volcanic ash, an island the US Navy still fills with live bombs, and a prison you can only reach by boat. Fourteen real places across the region, each one closed off by a law, a military order, or an active hazard. And the public is barred from all of them. In this video, we count down all fourteen: → Sombrero, Anguilla: a guano-stripped rock with a lighthouse, closed to landing without the Anguilla National Trust's permission. → Redonda, Antigua and Barbuda: a 296-metre spike of rock, now a 30,000-hectare ecosystem reserve open only to researchers. → Alto Velo, Dominican Republic: the country's southernmost rock, inside Jaragua National Park, reachable by permit only. → The Swan Islands, Honduras: three specks 80 nautical miles offshore, held by a naval garrison you must ask before landing. → The Isle of Youth, Cuba: a wild southern zone sealed behind a military checkpoint at Cayo Piedra. → Kick 'em Jenny, Grenada: an active submarine volcano ringed by a maritime exclusion zone no vessel may cross. → AUTEC, Andros Island, Bahamas: a US Navy undersea-warfare base most Bahamians will never enter. → Desecheo, Puerto Rico: a former bombing range closed to the public, where trespassers face federal arrest. → Navassa Island: a disputed limestone rock between Haiti and Jamaica, landing granted only in extraordinary circumstances. → Culebra, Puerto Rico: a former naval bombing range where unexploded shells still keep parts of the island closed. → Vieques, Puerto Rico: a live-impact range closed by an act of Congress after the Navy left in 2003. → Carrera Island, Trinidad: a 20-acre convict island prison since 1877, reached only by a guarded launch. → Guantanamo Bay, Cuba: 45 square miles sealed behind a 17-mile fence line, off-limits from both sides. And at number one: Plymouth, Montserrat, the only abandoned capital city in the world. The Soufriere Hills volcano erupted in 1995 and buried the town under as much as 12 metres of ash, and a pyroclastic flow in June 1997 killed 19 people who had returned inside the zone. Plymouth now sits inside Zone V, the permanent exclusion zone, reachable only on a police-permitted guided tour when the volcano's alert level allows it. Its clock tower still stands in the ash. His PRIVATE Fruit Tree Collection Inside a 50-Acre Farm!
We're back at this incredible 50-acre tropical fruit farm in Homestead, Florida—but this time I'm showing you something you DIDN'T see in the first video: the owner's personal row of tropical fruit trees that he grows for himself and his family! This is Part 2 of my tour of this amazing commercial tropical fruit farm. Inside this special section, he grows many of his favorite tropical fruits and varieties, including mangoes, mamey sapote, sapodilla, jackfruit, lychee, avocado, custard apple, soursop, acerola cherry, pomegranate, amla and more. One of the most interesting things you'll see is how aggressively these trees are kept small. Instead of allowing every tree to become huge, they're fitting more trees and more varieties into the available space while still producing fruit. We also talk about pruning mango and avocado trees, planting trees close together, air layering vs. grafting, problems caused by excessive water, fruit production, and how commercial growers manage tropical fruit trees. If you haven't seen Part 1—the full tour of this incredible 50-acre tropical fruit farm—I'll put the link below. America Just SEIZED 34 Million Tons of Jamaica's Soil — China Found Out Too Late
In June 2026, a company broke ground in a quiet parish in Louisiana on a plant built to extract rare earth elements from thirty-four million tons of industrial waste. There was no ceremony. No press pool. Almost nobody covered it. Every ton of that waste came from Jamaica. For seventy years, Jamaican bauxite has been dug out of the hills of Saint Ann, shipped from Discovery Bay, and refined at a plant on the Mississippi River built in 1957. The aluminium was taken. The leftovers — the red mud — were dumped on American ground and forgotten. Nobody wanted them. They were a disposal cost. Then the world changed. China banned gallium exports to the United States. Twelve of the seventeen rare earth elements came under Chinese export control. And Washington went looking for a supply chain it already owned. It found one. It had been sitting in Louisiana since 1957, and it was made of Jamaican dirt. This documentary traces how that happened — and what it means for the island that supplied the raw material and may never see a cent of what comes out the other end. What you'll find in this video: Why the Pentagon put $150 million into a 70-year-old Louisiana refinery, and why that refinery cannot run without Jamaican bauxite The $96.9 million of US federal money now aimed at rare earths inside Jamaican-origin waste The scientific paper published in 1987 that told Jamaica exactly what was in its red mud — nearly forty years ago The world-first pilot plant Jamaica built in 2013, and the decision made in Beijing that killed it Why China's $490 million bet on the Alpart refinery may have been a bet on the wrong thing entirely The one line in Jamaica's Parliament that shows Kingston is asking whether it is even owed a royalty — after the plant is already in the ground What the 1974 bauxite levy really cost Jamaica, and why that memory is shaping every decision being made right now The rare earth deposit still sitting under Jamaican soil that nobody has claimed yet If you want the version of Caribbean geopolitics that comes with dates, dollar figures and the parliamentary record — not the loud version — this channel is built for you.
