Jamaica's SHOCKING Rise to the OIL Capital of the Caribbean
Jamaica has no oil fields of its own so why is it now selling fuel to Trinidad and Tobago, the country that spent a century calling itself the Caribbean's oil king? And why are 42 sediment cores, pulled from the floor of the Caribbean Sea, sitting in a Houston lab right now, waiting to reveal whether Jamaica is sitting on 7 billion barrels of oil? In this documentary, we break down Jamaica's quiet transformation into a Caribbean energy and logistics power the $90 million fuel deal with Trinidad, the collapse of Trinidad's Petrotrin refinery, Guyana's record breaking oil boom next door, Kingston's massive port expansion, and the offshore exploration survey that could change everything. Is Jamaica about to become the next Guyana? Or is its real advantage something nobody's talking about? Deep Into Guyana's Jungle: On the Trail of the Harpy Eagle | Full Documentary
Deep in Guyana’s untouched rainforest, wildlife filmmaker Rainer Bergomaz and Yung Sandy set out to find one of South America’s most formidable predators: the harpy eagle. Reaching its remote territory means hauling their boat and equipment over waterfalls, crossing rivers and climbing high into the rainforest canopy. Their goal is extraordinary - to locate a harpy eagle nest and witness the birth of a chick before the approaching rainy season makes their escape impossible. Along the way, they encounter giant otters, tapirs, caimans, sloths, monkeys and deadly snakes in a rainforest where some animals have barely encountered humans. #harpyeagle #guyana #rainforest #animals Wild Borneo: Inside One of Earth's Richest Rainforests https://youtu.be/A_SnZNjibeA Thumbnail Credits: Bild: Jiang Chunsheng, CC BY 4.0, bearbeitet Quelle: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Harpia_chega_ao_ninho_com_um_macaco-prego.jpg Lizenz: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Bild: Mdf, CC BY-SA 3.0, bearbeitet Quelle: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Harpia-harpyja-001.jpg Lizenz: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ _______ Welcome to Get.nature – your destination for stunning wildlife and nature documentaries! 🐾🌿 From rainforests to reef systems, volcanic highlands to Arctic tundra, Get.nature brings you full-length documentaries that showcase the raw beauty, extraordinary behavior, and breathtaking diversity of our planet. #africanstories #talesafrican #tales Poor Maid Sold Her Only Watch to Save a Dying Stranger — Unaware He Was a Billionaire Ayomide has almost nothing left except her late mother’s silver watch. But when she finds a dying stranger abandoned beside a rain-soaked Abuja road, the poor maid sacrifices that precious keepsake to pay for the treatment that saves his life—never imagining that the helpless man is billionaire Oladapo Banjoko. Her kindness should have changed her destiny for the better. Instead, Ayomide returns to the Royal Crest Hotel and walks into a cruel trap. Falsely accused of theft, dismissed without justice, blacklisted from employment, and forced from her home, she watches her dignity disappear while the stranger she rescued vanishes without learning her identity. But Ayomide soon realizes that her suffering is connected to a much larger betrayal. Behind the hotel’s beautiful walls, powerful executives have been stealing workers’ wages, hiding injuries, and silencing anyone courageous enough to speak. With her younger brother Damilola protecting the evidence and forgotten workers slowly finding their voices, Ayomide begins a dangerous fight for truth. When she finally comes face-to-face with Oladapo at a glittering public gala, one private sentence changes everything. Will the billionaire believe the maid who saved him, or will corruption destroy her before justice can be revealed? The Complete Story of Moses | From Slavery to the Promised Land | Full Bible Story
Who was Moses, and how did a condemned Hebrew child become the man who led Israel out of slavery in Egypt? In this full Bible story, you’ll understand Moses’ complete journey—from the Nile and the burning bush to Pharaoh, the Exodus, Mount Sinai, forty years in the wilderness, and his final view of the Promised Land. The story of Moses is one of the most important narratives in the Bible. Born under Pharaoh’s death decree, Moses was rescued from the Nile and raised in the Egyptian royal household before fleeing to Midian as a fugitive. Everything changed when God called him from the burning bush and sent him back to Egypt. Moses confronted Pharaoh, witnessed the plagues and Passover, and led Israel through the Red Sea. But escaping Egypt was only the beginning. Follow Moses to Mount Sinai, the Ten Commandments, the golden calf, Israel’s rebellion, the twelve spies, Korah’s revolt, Meribah, the bronze serpent, Balaam, and the rise of Joshua. Finally, discover why Moses could see the Promised Land but could not enter it—and how his mission continued after his death. ▶ WATCH THE FULL BIBLE STORY PLAYLIST: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD-n6syBk8ks 📖 CHAPTERS 00:00 — Moses: A Child Born Under a Death Sentence 04:10 — The Birth and Rescue of Moses 07:25 — Moses Chooses His Hebrew Identity 09:37 — Moses Flees Egypt for Midian 14:08 — The Burning Bush 20:00 — God Sends Moses Back to Egypt 26:00 — Moses Confronts Pharaoh 30:00 — The Plagues of Egypt Begin 39:09 — The Final Plague and the Firstborn 40:01 — The First Passover 42:19 — Israel Leaves Egypt 44:35 — The Red Sea Divides 48:49 — Israel in the Wilderness 50:41 — Israel Arrives at Mount Sinai 52:00 — The Covenant and God’s Law 59:07 — The Golden Calf 01:04:00 — Moses Intercedes for Israel 01:10:00 — From Sinai Toward the Promised Land 01:16:00 — The Twelve Spies and Israel’s Rebellion 01:22:39 — Korah Rebels Against Moses 01:28:50 — Moses’ Failure at Meribah 01:32:54 — The Bronze Serpent 01:36:18 — Balak and Balaam 01:45:16 — Joshua Is Chosen to Succeed Moses 01:50:00 — Israel Prepares for the Promised Land 01:57:47 — Moses Repeats the Ten Commandments 02:05:00 — Moses’ Final Warnings and Blessings 02:10:41 — Moses Climbs Mount Nebo 02:15:57 — The Death of Moses 02:20:00 — The Legacy of Moses 02:27:48 — Joshua and the Mission Continue 📜 MAIN BIBLICAL SOURCES Exodus 1–4 — Moses’ birth, Egypt, Midian, and the burning bush Exodus 5–12 — Moses confronts Pharaoh, the plagues, and Passover Exodus 13–18 — The Exodus, Red Sea, wilderness, and Jethro Exodus 19–34 — Mount Sinai, the covenant, God’s law, and the golden calf Numbers 11–14 — Israel’s rebellion and the twelve spies Numbers 16–17 — Korah’s rebellion Numbers 20–21 — Meribah, Aaron’s death, and the bronze serpent Numbers 22–25 — Balak, Balaam, and Israel at Moab Numbers 27 — Joshua chosen as Moses’ successor Deuteronomy 1–34 — Moses’ final speeches, covenant warnings, blessings, Mount Nebo, and death Acts 7 — New Testament summary of Moses’ early life and calling 📝 INTERPRETATION NOTE This documentary uses Scripture as its primary foundation. China’s $50 Billion Masterplan for Jamaica’s Future
In December 2025, a hospital ship of the Chinese navy docked in Montego Bay — five weeks after Hurricane Melissa tore the western half of Jamaica apart. Less than six hundred miles north, an American military command watched every minute of it. That single moment explains a twenty-year story almost nobody has told correctly. Kingston Harbour is the seventh largest natural harbour in the world, and it sits roughly 32 miles from the shipping lane carrying 42% of all Panama Canal traffic toward the wealthiest consumer market on earth. That geography is why China built Jamaica's mountain highways, why Washington sent its Secretary of State to Kingston in March 2025, and why the number in the title is not what you think it is. We go through the whole record — the China Harbour Engineering Company contracts, the fifty-year toll concession, the twelve hundred acres of land, the alumina refinery, the Belt and Road memorandum — then we reach the part almost every video on this subject leaves out. In November 2019, seven months after signing onto the Belt and Road Initiative, Jamaica's Prime Minister came home from Beijing and publicly refused to negotiate any new loan programmes with China. Jamaica took the highway. Jamaica refused the debt. WHAT YOU'LL FIND INSIDE - Why 32 miles of open water makes Jamaica the most valuable unclaimed strategic real estate in the hemisphere - The real terms of the North-South Highway deal: a fifty-year toll concession and a twelve-hundred-acre land transfer the state struggled to value - Why the "debt trap" story collapses under the real figures — Chinese loans were roughly 3.9% of Jamaica's national debt at fixed rates of two to three percent - The November 2019 decision in Kingston that almost no one reports - Why Jamaica's container terminal went to a French operator instead of a Chinese one - Why the Goat Islands port was killed by fisherfolk and scientists, not by Washington - How Hurricane Melissa revealed who actually shows up when it matters - What the $50 billion figure really refers to, and why China never needed to spend it in Jamaica TELL US WHAT YOU THINK Was that fifty-year toll concession a fair price for a road that transformed movement across an entire country — or did Jamaica pay too much for asphalt? Drop FAIR DEAL or BAD DEAL in the comments and say why. And if you were in Kingston tomorrow, holding a twelve billion dollar reconstruction bill with two superpowers on the phone — fast money, or slow money and stay free? We read every comment and pin the sharpest arguments.
