Hyena Mother vs. the Wild: Survival in the Serengeti | Full Documentary
Few places on earth have inspired naturalists like the Serengeti. It has been considered a magical place, the essence of Africa, since it came into public awareness fifty years ago. But the Serengeti is more than just breathtaking scenery and wildebeest-eating lions. It mirrors the history and development of conservation, the biological sciences, and our general attitude towards nature. A young hyena gives birth to twins and rears them for several days in isolation, away from the communal den of a big hyena clan in the plains. When she brings the cubs to the burrows of the clan, her Iow rank is revealed. The film introduces us to the surprisingly complex social world of hyenas. As the hunters of the clan have to move further every week to follow the wildebeests, the young female struggles to produce enough milk for her twins, waiting forty kilometers behind. She is forced to hunt in stränge territories and to avoid punishment by the local clans. The wildebeest herds now pass through the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, while several predators lie in wait: hyenas, crocodiles, and the deadliest of all hunters, Man. The cubs will wait several weeks in vain for the return of their mother. Episode 1 of the Serengeti Documentary Series is live: Serengeti Kings: The Lions Who Lost Their Throne https://youtu.be/xyf6fUiKpoI 07.01.2000 --- Welcome to the official Get.factual youtube channel! 🌍 We are a documentary streaming channel covering history, science, technology, and nature. What is Spanish Bridge? Spanish Bridge is an old stone bridge located over the White River, near the border of St. Ann and St. Mary parishes, close to Ocho Rios. It’s not a bridge used for cars or heavy traffic—more like a historical and recreational spot deep in nature. The bridge itself dates back to the Spanish colonial period, hence the name. ⸻ 🌊 Why It’s Popular • Crystal-Clear River: The White River is cool, clean, and flows gently in that area—perfect for a refreshing swim. • Cliff Jumping: There are natural platforms around the bridge for jumping into the river, a major attraction for thrill-seekers. • Rope Swings: Locals often set up rope swings from trees near the water, giving it a fun, adventure-park vibe. • Lush Surroundings: The area is full of trees, vines, and limestone rocks—very peaceful and “off the beaten path.” ⸻ 📜 History & Culture • The bridge is believed to have been built in the 1600s or 1700s, possibly by the Spanish or early British colonizers. • It served as a small river crossing, not a major highway, and now remains as a historic remnant of Jamaica’s colonial past. • Locals have used the spot for decades as a “country chill spot,” often for Sunday cookouts and relaxing. ⸻ 🧭 How to Get There • Located about 20–30 minutes outside of Ocho Rios. • Accessible via White River Valley, but the road can be rough and may require a local guide or a high-clearance vehicle. • GPS might not be 100% accurate; best to ask locals or use a local tour guide. #jamaica,#jamaicawalkby,#spanishbridge,#shorts,#bridge,#spanish,#trending,River,#beach

World's Deadliest Roads | India | Free Documentary World's Deadliest Roads - Argentina: https://youtu.be/LA6hn-qnJw0 The roads of North India stretch from the peaks of the Himalayas to the capital, New Delhi. Every day, more than 100 million people use them, and they account for 11% of all accidents worldwide. There are several reasons for these staggering figures: The roads themselves are built without asphalt or guardrails, and are used by a mix of carts, motorcycles, cars, and animals. Northern India has nearly 380 million inhabitants, among them are thousands of farmers who travel by buffalo or horse. They also use the highways, risking their lives and causing spectacular accidents. But the chaotic traffic and users who drive dangerously and disregard road rules cause additional problems. Drivers do not hesitate to drive against the flow of traffic or to overtake from either side. The thick fog that spreads regularly in the New Delhi region causes terrible crashes every year. And in the Himalayas, any mistake can be fatal. The slightest deviation from the road propels cars and trucks into ravines of more than 300 metres depth. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #india ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-quality documentaries to you on YouTube for free, with the latest camera equipment used by renowned filmmakers working for renowned production studios. Are more people celebrating divorce? | The Conversation | Focus on Africa
Divorce rates are steadily rising in many African countries. In South Africa, government data shows that the divorce rate increased by 8.9% between 2023 and 2024. In Zambia, there was a 16% rise in divorce between 2022 and 2023, according to media reports. But despite the stigma that still surrounds divorce, attitudes are changing. In Kenya, some high-profile figures have even celebrated separations with 'divorce parties,' while the idea of a 'divorce glow-up' is gaining traction online. Focus on Africa host, Nkechi Ogbonna, spoke to content creator, Millicent Bundi, from Kenya, and Zambian gospel artist, Mag44, who have both shared their post-divorce journey publicly. #divorce #focusonafrica #bbcafrica #divorceparty 00:00-00:45 Coming up 00:45-02:26 Meeting Millie and Mag44 02:26-05:05 The divorce glow-up 05:05 -09:16 The decision to get a divorce 09:16- 11:49 What married life was like 11:49-13:20 How do you know you're ready for marriage? 13:20-16:30 Getting married for the right reasons 16:30-18:11 Why are more people getting divorced? 18:11-21:00 Experiencing stigma 21:00-22:30 Dating post-divorce 22:30- 23:22 How to reach out to Focus on Africa:The Conversation Presenter: Nkechi Ogbonna Producers: Fana Negash and Carolyne Kiambo Senior Producer: Priya Sippy Editors: Samuel Murunga and Maryam Abdalla Subscribe: http://bit.ly/subscribetoafrica Website: https://www.bbc.com/africa Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bbcnewsafrica/ Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/bbcafrica/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bbcafrica/

Own Your Need | Pastor Luke Pettrey | Sunday Service | The Brooklyn Tabernacle
Many of us equate God’s mercy with how much “good” we do for Him. But in reality, there’s nothing we can do to earn God’s love and mercy, because Jesus already paid for them by His death on the cross! Jesus taught that it’s not the person who keeps all the rules who wins God’s favor. Instead, it’s the one who is poor in spirit. Let’s go low and see God pour out His blessing on us.
