In her short career so far, she says she's been asked for sex 10-15 times in exchange for roles, requests she's rejected outright. Hospital burns units across Uganda are reporting higher instances of acid attacks. Globally, there are approximately 1,500 a year (source Action Aid) but it is a crime that often goes unreported for fear of reprisal. Most survivors of acid attacks are women and girls. People with albinism in Africa often face discrimination, but this Nigerian family is determined to see a change in how the society treats them. Taiwo grew up with albinism, but his twin brother Kehinde did not have the genetic disorder. Despite finding this confusing as children, the twins explain how they coped with the challenges of growing up as brothers with different skin colour. The Miss Curvy Uganda competition says it wants to celebrate curvaceous women and end 'size zero' beauty standards. BP agreed to pay around $10bn (£8bn) to a businessman involved in a suspicious energy deal. The energy giant bought Frank Timis' stake in a gas field off the coast of Senegal for $250 million in 2017. But documents obtained by BBC Panorama and Africa Eye reveal that BP was also projected to pay his company between $9bn and $12bn in royalties. Both BP and Mr Timis deny any wrongdoing.
