Today I'm visiting Sal from Fruit Hunters in Homestead/Redland, Florida, for a complete tour of his incredible tropical fruit collection. In just about 1.2 acres, Sal is growing an amazing diversity of rare and unusual edible plants. We look at mangoes, coconuts, papayas, black sapote, gummy worm fruit (Cecropia), wampi, rose apple, green sapote, mulberries, ice cream bean, Garcinia, Monstera fruit, Roxburgh fig and much more. And we don't just look at the trees — we get to TASTE some of these unusual fruits!
