Tesla (TSLA) is recalling all Cybertrucks produced and sold in the US over the past 15 months due to a safety issue with steel trim pieces that can detach from the vehicle. The company estimates that 1% of the recalled vehicles have the defect, which can create a road hazard and increase the risk of injury or collision. Tesla has not yet corrected the issue in production, but plans to replace the defective panels with new ones that meet its durability requirements. Swiss National Bank President Martin Schlegel discusses the central bank's decision to lower its benchmark rate by a quarter point to 0.25%, as well as the potential risks that geopolitical and fiscal uncertainty could have on the Swiss economy. The Bank of England announced it will leave its benchmark interest rate on hold at 4.5% on Thursday. The Monetary Policy Committee voted 8 to 1 in favor of leaving the benchmark policy rate unchanged, with more policymakers favoring a cautious approach than had been expected by economists.
