Rosamond Asiamah was the first woman recruited into Ghana's police force in 1952. Her family and former colleagues told the BBC's #TheSheWord programme how she led the fight to change the rules for female police officers, so that they were allowed marry and have children just as male officers could. "If that had not happened, we would have had less women in the police service than we have now," said Ghana's Commissioner of Police Beatrice Zakpaa Vib-Sanziri.
