The world's only nonuplets - nine babies born at the same time - are "in perfect health", says their mother, Halima Cissé. Originally from Mali, she gave birth in Morocco after Mali’s government flew her there for specialist care. Cissé gave birth by Caesarean section and her babies weighed between 500g and 1kg (1.1lb and 2.2lb). Family members of kidnapped passengers of the of Abuja-Kaduna train attack have appealed to the Nigerian government to rescue the victims. At least two of the captives have been released, but many more hostages are still in captivity. Train services along Abuja and Kaduna remain suspended two months since the brazen attack by gunmen on a high-speed train that left at least eight passengers dead and hundreds missing. A BBC investigation has uncovered a global network of Nigerian separatists based outside the country using social media to spread false information and call for violence against their opponents. It’s revealed what’s been described as a ‘troll farm’ operating worldwide, contravening social media guidelines against hate speech and disinformation. The investigation by the BBC's Global Disinformation Team found supporters of the Indigenous People of Biafra, or IPOB, reaching tens of thousands of followers with violent broadcasts, sometimes switching into local languages to avoid moderation from social media platforms. When Kappy Wanjohi's son Nathan was diagnosed with quadriplegia cerebral palsy at birth, she felt hopeless. However, she and her husband Meekeh have been able to adapt their lifestyle, and some equipment, to make sure that they can do activities as a family. Meekeh's handiwork has resulted in a wheelchair that doubles as a car seat and a harness, which allowed Kappy to walk with her son on the beach - a moment she describes as the "highlight" of her life. After conquering Mount Longonot together, they are now planning on climbing Mount Kenya as a family. Africa is rich with a variety of traditional religions and spiritual belief systems. However during the colonial period missionaries spread Christianity throughout the continent, and suppressed many of these pre-existing belief systems. Africans continued to follow their traditional belief, in smaller numbers than before, and these faiths still exist today. Younger African people, particularly women, have found these religions and spiritual belief systems can help them learn more about their heritage and forge their own identities apart from the colonial legacy of the continent.
