No More Woke Department, says Defense Secretary Hegseth
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says the Pentagon became the "woke department" and has focused on diversity for too long. Speaking at the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia, Hegseth announced plans to overhaul the inspector general and other equal opportunity programs, and to change how the Pentagon processes complaints, saying “no more frivolous complaints, no more anonymous complaints, no more repeat complainants, no more smearing reputations.”
