Worlds Most Dangerous Tree Found In Jamaica
#jamaica #manchineeltree #OneLoveJamaica The world's most dangerous tree grows right here in Jamaica. Most people walk right past it. Known in Spanish as manzanilla de la muerte — the little apple of death — the manchineel tree (Hippomane mancinella) holds the Guinness World Record as the most dangerous tree on Earth. Every part of it is toxic. The bark. The leaves. The fruit. Even the rain that falls through its branches. In this episode of One Love Jamaica, we track down this deadly tree along Jamaica's coastline — uncovering its hidden presence, its deep roots in Caribbean history, and why the village of Manchioneal in Portland carries its name to this day. In this video: Why the manchineel is certified the world's deadliest tree The fruit that looks like an apple — and almost killed a radiologist How Carib warriors used its sap to poison their arrows How that same sap killed Spanish conquistador Juan Ponce de León in 1521 The UWI Mona research that discovered a previously unknown poisoning symptom Where the tree is found along Jamaica's coastline today Why Manchioneal, Portland is named after this deadly tree The manchineel tree is not just a botanical curiosity. It is a living chapter of Caribbean history — of indigenous knowledge, colonial encounter, and nature's most elegant warning. And it has been growing quietly in Jamaica all along. THE NATURAL WONDERS OF TURKEY - The Most Unique Country in the World | Travel video
Turkey is more than a country between Europe and Asia. It feels like a living layer of human history, where ancient trade routes, forgotten civilizations, volcanic landscapes, and imperial cities still shape the land today. This travel video takes viewers across dramatic stone valleys formed millions of years ago, ancient settlements connected to the earliest civilizations, and historic regions that once controlled the movement between the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, and the Middle East. Instead of focusing only on familiar tourist images, the journey explores the deeper structure behind Turkey’s identity. Vast Anatolian plateaus, coastal cities facing two continents, underground ruins, and landscapes carved by time reveal why this region became one of the most influential crossroads in world history. Every location carries traces of empires, religions, and cultures that rose and disappeared over thousands of years. This travel video also presents Turkey from a different perspective — not just as a destination of famous landmarks, but as a land where geography shaped civilization itself. Ancient stone architecture, abandoned valleys, and historic trading centers continue to exist beside modern cities, creating a rare contrast between the ancient and the contemporary world. #travelvideo #exploretravel #turkey #türkiye 00:00 Intro 01:38 Cappadocia and Goreme National Park – Volcanic valleys and hot air balloons 04:28 Antalya – Famous Mediterranean coastal city 07:03 Bodrum – Blue peninsula with hidden bays 10:01 Trabzon and Sumela Monastery – Ancient monastery on a cliffside 12:56 Ani – Abandoned ancient city on the plateau 14:58 Mardin – Stone city overlooking Mesopotamia 17:38 Aspendos – Exceptionally preserved Roman theater 19:38 Ephesus – Ancient city that was once a major port 22:18 Fethiye and Oludeniz – Blue lagoon and paragliding paradise 24:54 Kas and Kekova – Sunken ancient city beneath the sea 27:49 Istanbul – The city between Europe and Asia 30:54 Pamukkale – White mineral terraces and hot springs 32:57 Lake Van – The largest alkaline lake in Turkey 35:28 Patara – Long sandy beach and ancient ruins 37:45 Ihlara Valley – Green canyon carved through the plateau 41:03 Tuz Lake – Giant mirror-like salt lake 43:20 Amasya – Riverside city surrounded by rocky mountains 46:11 Safranbolu – UNESCO-preserved Ottoman town 48:50 Kayakoy – Abandoned stone village on the hillside 50:50 Dalyan – Unique river and lagoon landscape 53:42 Lake Salda – White and turquoise lake like another planet 56:05 Konya – Historic center of Sufi culture in Anatolia 58:08 Marmaris – Sheltered bay surrounded by green mountains 01:00:54 Outro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

THE TWO AUTISTIC BROTHERS ARE FACING SERIOUS CHALLENGES & THEIR FATHER IN MY EYES IS TOO LAID BACK
This video is about our continued visits to the Melhado family in Porus, Manchester — a family we have known and supported for almost two years. The family consists of a loving grandmother who has been raising her two autistic grandsons from they were babies, David Melhado and Robert Melhado, along with their father, who is one of the grandmother’s sons. When we first met this family, the father reached out to us asking for assistance. He shared that he wanted to start a chicken farming business, so with the help of generous donors, we refurbished an old dormant chicken coop and donated 150 chickens along with enough feed to support the project until the chickens were ready for market. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, the business did not work out as planned. Since then, we have continued assisting the family whenever possible through food packages, care packages, and spending time with the brothers — including taking them for haircuts, meals, and offering support where we can. After some time, the father explained that he wanted to begin burning coal as another way to support the family and requested assistance in getting a chainsaw/power saw. Once again, with the help of donors, we were able to provide the equipment. However, during this recent visit, I was disappointed to learn that the saw has not yet been used to create any income or improve the family’s situation. During our visit, the father also shared that the two autistic brothers have been facing challenges lately. He explained that there are times when they do not take their medication, and they sometimes leave home very early in the morning and return late in the evening. Despite the struggles, this family continues to hold together through the love and dedication of their grandmother, who remains one of the strongest pillars in their lives. Thank you to everyone who continues to support families like the Melhado family through your kindness, prayers, and donations. Your support truly makes a difference. #communitysupport #jamaica #shanzenzen #autism
