Behind Bars Season 3 - Episode 2: Urso Branco, Brazil | 4K Prison Documentary Behind Bars - Antananarivo Prison, Madagascar: https://youtu.be/ACfKHjUmg_o The pre-trial prison Urso Branco is one of the worst jails in all of Brazil. Riots have been taking place here almost every year since 2002. Gangs battling for control of the drug business are also fighting it out behind bars. They use every opportunity to eliminate rival gang members. In the past 20 years, more than 100 people have died in riots behind the walls of Urso Branco. A sad record for Brazil. The situation in Urso Branco remains a powder keg, despite the government tightening security in recent years. Sanitary conditions are catastrophic; cells are desperately overcrowded. The guards are heavily armed and always carry loaded weapons. Each rifle's barrel contain special anti-riot ammunition made of rubber. The other cartridges are live ammunition. This is the only way they can keep the situation under control. Even though the guards face the constant risk of attack. To this place, the twenty-eight-year-old Naum is being brought, having been arrested by the police when trying to rob a bar. In Urso Branco he has to wait for the decision from the judge. The decision, if he will stay in jail for the next 15 years or if he will see his family soon again. Naum shares the cell with 19 other inmates – 19 men who are in custody here for robbery, murder, rape and drug trafficking. Inside is cramped and the sanitary facilities are catastrophic. As the new guy, Naum is at the bottom of the pecking order. What's worse is that the situation behind bars can escalate at any time. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #BehindBars ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. No-Go Zones - World’s Toughest Places - Jamaica No-Go Zones - Khayelitsha, South Africa: https://youtu.be/3lLoC3C_UdI Jamaica: On the surface, it’s a tropical island paradise in the Caribbean. But, in spite of all the tranquility, Jamaica has one of the highest murder rates in the world. The reason: Ghettos! And the worst of all of them: Mountain View. Anyone who sets foot here risks their life. Deadly gun battles and gang wars are just part of the daily routine. The many small communities here are in a state of constant war. The most infamous of all the gangs: South Clan! Drugs, alcohol, weapons. Everything always close at hand. The criminals make their money with contract killing, extortion, and kidnapping. Around five hundred people live in the South Clan community. Evil and his men say they protect the people here – from the bad guys. Their favorite weapons are the Glock nine millimeter, Beretta M-9 and the M-15 semiautomatic. All lightweight and deadly. The Mountain View slum is a refuge for the poorest of the poor. Many seek solace in alcohol and marijuana. What rules here is primarily unemployment, miserable living conditions, hopelessness. Particularly for single mothers, there is usually only one way out: prostitution! Every day young women sell their bodies on the street. A special police unit tries to end all this and to shut down the gangs. Four men notorious for their prowess. The special unit can't rely on any tips from ghetto residents. Because nobody talks here. There is only one language – which means don't talk, shoot! Mountain View, Kingston is one of the most dangerous no-go zones in the world… Those who grow up here, barely stand a chance! ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #NoGoZones ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. Giant Pop-Up Constructions: Ice Festival - Megastructures out of 300 Tons Snow | 4K Construction Documentary Giant Pop-Up Constructions - Russia - Skyscraper in 51 Days: https://youtu.be/wK-vZVzIcpw Structures 15 meters high and 25 meters wide - made out of snow. For 70 years now, every winter, Sapporo, Japan, has hosted one of the largest snow festivals in the world: Sapporo Snow Festival. Each team has three weeks to create works of art the size of an apartment building from a few hundred tons of loose snow. Even a small mistake or a rise in temperature of 1°C - 2° C can cause an entire structure to collapse. Failure is not an option. Perfectionism is a national trait. There’s a lot at stake: circa two million visitors from all over the world are expected. The Japanese military traditionally build the largest and most elaborate sculpture at the festival. In over fifteen thousand man-hours, Major Ling and 80 soldiers are rebuilding the royal palace in Warsaw. They need 300 tons of snow. But there is a problem: in the event’s 70 year history, snowfall has been at its lowest this year. And this despite the fact that Sapporo is one of the ten snowiest regions in the world. This time the snow is transported by trucks from the mountains. And they're about three hours away by car. This year, the military is premiering two sculptures instead of one. Even if there is no official evaluation of the sculptures, prestige, honor and reputation for the army units are at stake. The fight only ends when the time is up. We accompany both teams in this extraordinary assignment and experience how gigantic, artistic snow sculptures are created. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #GiantConstructions ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. In the second episode, enforcement officers Scott Hines and Steve Michell are tasked with the eviction of a council property in South London - a dark, dirty and potentially dangerous environment. Steve, spotting a large knife next to one of the squatters’ beds, says: “We’ll have people shouting, making threats, picking up lumps of wood, metal bars – whatever they can find. Where a lot of these people are scared for their own safety, they’ll have weapons beside their bed… Maybe not to use against us, but against other people coming to rob them.” ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #TheEnforcers ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. The “technical masterwork” was built in the 1950s and 60s, at the time of Yugoslavian President Tito. Abounding in curves, the asphalt road stretches from Ankaran in Slovenia to Ulcinj in Montenegro. More than half of the road is in Croatia (659 km) and a quarter in Montenegro (125 km). Shorter segments lead through Slovenia; only nine kilometers are in Bosnia and Herzegovina. For all four countries of the former Yugoslavian Federation, the 1,200-kilometer-long highway remains the main thoroughfare of Adriatic tourism. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #MostDangerousRoads ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. Giant Pop-Up Constructions: Skyscraper in 51 Days | 4K Construction Documentary Giant Pop-Up Constructions - Las Vegas, USA - Huge Swimming Pool in One Week: https://youtu.be/Yix6dZgwfRM A 40-meter high, 14-story apartment complex - erected in just 51 days. A construction boom in the Russian capital has been going on for years now. In 2017 the government decided to tear down communist apartment blocks (infamous for shoddy construction): around 4,000 buildings from the 1950s and 1960s are being replaced with modern high-rises. A politically significant infrastructure program - the pressure on construction companies is high. We witness up close the tensions at one of the largest construction sites in Moscow. We experience how a huge apartment complex pops up out of nowhere. 150 finished apartment units are to be completed in 51 days. First residents are already scheduled to move in. No time for mistakes. Only if the workers place the walls in the right order at the predefined place, the building concept will work. According to the stringent timeline, workers have three days per floor. Working in shifts around the clock is essential. While the walls are being set up, the next tradespeople - electricians and plumbers - are moving up from below. Even the smallest delay triggers a knock on effect that throws the whole project back for several days. Exact planning is essential here. The first floor has to be perfect and without mistakes, otherwise it will stretch to the top floor. Some parts cannot be stored and must be delivered just in time and immediately installed correctly. But what happens if the wrong parts are delivered and wind and sudden snowfall make building difficult for the workers? ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #GiantConstructions ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. In the first episode, the enforcers are called in to evict dozens of squatters from a multi-million pound office block in the City of London. A High Court judge has given officers the powers to enter the building and take possession on behalf of the owner, but the squatters aren’t happy at being forced out. World’s Most Dangerous Roads | The Hot Routes of Mali (2010) World’s Most Dangerous Roads - The Canadian Ice Roads: https://youtu.be/UCkhwkZvCJw The air wants to flee the heat, but is too weak. It hovers just above the ground, heavy and weighed down by the oven-like heat. It turns wanly around itself, and tries to cool off by liquefying itself. It vibrates, it oscillates – but there is no escape. This is West Africa in late March. The Harmattan, the hot desert wind of the Sahara, is blowing without respite. It has no pity with the people who live here. Whoever wants to go from one place to another has to travel on roads that hardly deserve this name. They are dusty paths that don’t appear on any map. They are maneuverable only with great effort and for a few months of the year. They are impassable during the rainy season, since they are washed over by the Niger River, one of the mightiest rivers in the world. When it starts to rain, the roads turn into muddy paths. A swimming arena is created in this glamorous glitzy venue in just one week. Just a week before, the space was equipped with all the trappings of an A lister elaborate stage performance; now it’s being turned into an indoor swimming pool. For the "International Swimming League" competition, 20 craftspersons are installing a 25 meter long, two meter deep and 20 meter wide swimming pool in seven days. 84 tons of steel and over one million liters of water. If the pool is not placed at the correct spot in the hall, it will negatively impact all the other components. The introduction of a new feature that will demand the pop-up professionals from Italy their A-game: The pool should have a transparent wall so that the audience can see the swimmers. All materials are specially made for the event and were shipped from Italy. From the two-ton acrylic wall to the six hundred metre long pump water system. Carelessness could damage the material and cause the project to fail. Because ten thousand kilometres away from the factory and without the right machines, it is almost impossible to do so. Unexpected problems with the material threaten to cause the pop-up construction to fail. Time is pressing and the team must do everything to get the pool ready on time. Giant Pop-Up Constructions: Gigantic Pop-Up Fair: Oktoberfest | 4K Construction Documentary Giant Pop-Up Constructions - India - Railway Underpass in 5 Hours https://youtu.be/oD10ccstzp4 It is the largest folk festival in the world: the Munich Oktoberfest. A gigantic pop-up fair complete with beer halls, roller coasters and booths on an area the size of 50 football fields. During the two-week festival, more than six million visitors flock to the 38 marquees, 170 rides, booths and shops. Something for everyone. Ten weeks are needed for project Octoberfest on a dedicated fairground near the Olympia Stadium. There must be no delays during assembly. Everything must be in place on opening day. We'll be there when a new team sets up the largest festival tent, the Hofbräu tent, for the first time. The new team is expecting around 100 truckloads of unknown material and hundreds of thousands of individual parts in the next few weeks. It goes without saying that nerves are stretched taut and tension is running high. Missing elements or faulty assembly put the timely completion of the work in great danger. We also accompany the construction of the largest transportable roller coaster in the world with five giant loops. 50 truckloads must be assembled in 20 days and inspected by TÜV. At dizzying heights, the workers have to join the steel parts weighing tons. Don’t forget the time pressure element. In spite of everything, the crane operator must remain calm. One manoeuvre too fast and he could kill a worker with the three to four tonne parts. In numerous time-lapse perspectives, we experience how this gigantic pop-up construction unfolds bit by bit. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #GiantConstructions ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. Giant Pop-Up Constructions: Railway Underpass in 5 Hours | 4K Construction Documentary World’s Most Extreme Railway: https://youtu.be/uTSpdD6MswA The location: somewhere in India. The weather: steaming hot. Not your ideal preconditions for an outdoor project of impossible proportions: constructing a railway underpass in five hours. Is it even possible to build a complete railway underpass in that short amount of time? Provided 150 workers, six excavators, and two heavy-duty cranes, all work in perfect coordination and planning, it is. Everything must be meticulously prepared. Within these five hours, there is no time to reposition machines and tools. For two months, the construction plan and structural analysis were adapted and optimized based on the material properties. The clock is ticking. The Indian railway halts all train traffic at Bobbili station for five hours - not a minute more. The trains will not wait. If they do not manage to reconnect the tracks in time, the trains will derail. All construction teams work simultaneously: Team #1 removes all the gravel under the tracks, team two removes tracks and cuts through the two outer tracks. Then, the earth is dug out to make room for the underpass. Four tracks have to be laid. A distance of eight meters. Before the first train can roll again, everything has to be finished. Remember: we’re talking 40 degrees in the shade. Any mistake will quickly mean that construction workers will be injured or buried alive. They can easily get caught on the exposed 25-kilovolt power cables. A truly spectacular pop-up construction project under some of the most adverse conditions. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #GiantConstructions ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. Super Comet: On a Strange Planet | Part 2 | Free Documentary
Super Comet - The longest night | Science Documentary Watch Part 1 here: https://youtu.be/W8Y6bf-UJPk 65 million years ago the dinosaurs were wiped out by a gigantic asteroid. We could soon be next. We don't know when it will happen or where the asteroid will strike. We only know that it will happen - sometime - perhaps in 1000 years' time or perhaps tomorrow. Will it be the end of mankind? Through the eyes of a young astronomer we experience this catastrophic event. On discovering the asteroid on collision course with Earth, he tries to give a warning, but in vain. He survives, but this is just the beginning. The impact results in an eclipse of the sun leading to a global winter and the extinction of many life-forms. This documentary will depict the scientific background to the catastrophe, with all its consequences for mankind and the natural world. This is the end of an era, but also the beginning of a new one - the age of the conquerors. Part 2 An asteroid hits the earth in the Mexican province of Yucatan in 2007. The impact causes the entire planet to burst into flames. Humankind is catapulted into a very dark age and this re-enacted doco-drama describes what happens 5, 10, 30, 60 and 80 days and lastly 4 months after the impact. Most life is extinguished within hundreds of kilometres of the crater. The entire earth sinks into darkness. Paris, New York, Hawaii are all in complete darkness and all plant life dies out as a result of the lack of sunlight. Temperatures fall much below anything ever experienced before. Many survivors are left absolutely alone and must fend for themselves. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Join the club and become a Free Documentary Patron: https://www.patreon.com/freedocumentary Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #SuperComet ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free.
