The beaver trapping season has just opened. An age-old quest begins in the heart of the forests of Mauricie. Back in the pioneering days of New France, trappers were known as “White Indians” and traded in furs. Following in their footsteps is Michel’s way of paying homage to those woodsmen of the Far North.
