The Riders Of The Sahara - English Full Documentary
For the people of the Sahara, owning a horse is a mark of status, a great pride. In villages of the dry savannah, children are taught to ride horses very young. They live a free and exciting cow boy life, watching after the family’s herd. This is the case of Hisseini, 11, who is soon to participate his first Grand Fantasia, a ritual horse race in which he will represent his village. But Hisseini has no one to train him. At the cattle market, Hisseini meets Stephanie, a French woman who manages an equestrian club. He makes friend with her right-hand man Abakar. Abakar agrees to help Hisseini and introduces him to the white man’s way of riding horses. Hisseini also meets Estelle, a 12 year old French girl, getting ready for her first jumping competition with Stephanie. In a nearby town, Moussa is working as a stable boy for Atanase, a Greek man who has trained horses and jockeys in Africa for over 20 years. Moussa dreams to become a jockey like his brother Adoum. Adoum is to run for the Ramadan competition in the town’s central square. In that race, most jockeys ride barefoot, with no saddle nor stirrups. The big day has arrived for Estelle, Adoum and Hisseini. They have to prove to their family that they are seasoned riders of the Sahara. Black Taxis - Full Documentary
Brendan, Gerald and Tom are former volunteers of the Irish Republican Army. For them, and for all Irish republicans, the time of the armed struggle is now over. - But how to live in peace after thirty years of war and sacrificed life? - How then rebuild his life that under the company, it remains a criminal? - And how to accept that peace does not look like victory? Today they are drivers of "Black Taxi" Republicans in the ghettos of Belfast. Black Taxis are one of the strongest symbols of resistance. They were created at the beginning of the war, when the British government decided to suspend the bus service which served these neighborhoods. In Belfast, the buses were driven by Protestants, who refused to risk their lives in these republican areas. The people were so organized, they bought old taxis to make their transit. These taxis are still today their privileged transportation, 7/7, from morning to night, plying the same route. Riding a Black Taxi is one of the few possible jobs for former prisoners. Moreover, this Community transport system was also created in order to give them work. These trips represent confinement and lack of horizon of a generation that has spent the first half of his life in war, in combat or in prison. This film shows the loneliness, the loneliness of a day of war and the passing history and Un film d'Elisabeth Jonniaux Produit par Marie Hélène Ranc - Follow us on social media : Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/BestDocumentaryTV

Be a Predator: Polar Bear vs. Leopard Seals | Wild Life Documentary
Mirages are shaping over the immaculate ice shelf. Close up shot of a bear inhaling the frozen air. From the bear’s point of view, we understand that... he is smelling a seal. This odour is that of a young ringed seal hidden under a thin layer of snow. A few steps and paw swipes to clear the animal and uncover a young ringed seal snack. Under the ice shelf, protected from bears by several meters of frozen ice, belugas- the white whales- are hunting halibut. In their tridimensional environment, individuals can communicate the good hunting spots while kilometres apart. The chattering of these ghost hunters is continuous. At the South Pole, leopard seals hunt in silence. But they are nonetheless excellent tacticians. Their hunt is based on their excellent sight, experience and a perfect knowledge of their prey’s calendar. When do the parent penguins go off to feed at sea, when do they return, when are the young going to take their first bath and where exactly will they get into the water? The answers to these questions are all part of the leopard seal’s hunting culture. We follow his adventures under the surface of ice-covered bays. When his hunting season comes to an end at fall, the Northern spring wakes the polar bear which goes off to hunt. Our year in the lives of Pole predators comes to a close.
