The Picton Castle is commanded by Captain Daniel Moreland and his crew of a dozen paid professionals and 35 paying trainees. 45:10 Panama to the Galapagos Islands The Picton Castle has arrived at the Panama Canal and the crew are amazed by this engineering wonder as they pass from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. Arriving on the Pacific side of the canal marks the beginning of their passage through the sultry South Pacific. 01:31:00 The Galapagos Islands to Pitcairn Island The Picton Castle has arrived in the famed Galapagos Islands, and the crew take full advantage of the opportunity to explore the exotic wildlife which inspired Darwin's Theory of Evolution. 02:13:29 Pitcairn Island to Tahiti After spending almost one month at sea and having traveled 2700 miles without seeing land, the Picton Castle and her crew arrive at one of the most isolated islands in the world. 03:04:02 Tahiti to the Cook Islands Having sailed nearly 8,000 miles in less than four months, the crew of the Picton Castle arrive in Tahiti, the heart of French Polynesia. 03:50:17 The Cook Islands to Samoa The crew of the Picton Castle are now deep in the heart of the picture prefect South Pacific Ocean. Having left French Polynesia, many of the crew are relieved that are once again able to communicate with the locals in English. 04:36:19 Samoa to Fiji As the Picton Castle continues to island hope through the South Pacific, all is not well in paradise. Hygiene problems, infections, and bad water have lowered the crew morale to an all-time low. 05:23:40 Fiji to Vanuatu The Picton Castle's visit to Fiji represents another emotional turning point for everyone aboard as they say a painful goodbye to several long-time crew members who are leaving the ship.

Venezuela has declared a state of emergency after massive back-to-back earthquakes toppled buildings in Caracas, knocked down power lines and devastated the capital’s main airport. Sixteen years in the making, GROWING UP focuses on Fernando Pullum and the impact he’s had on thousands of youth in South Central Los Angeles. Through music Fernando rose above his own harrowing childhood and for decades he’s passed that gift along to his students. Graduates of Pullum’s program have gone on to play with Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Stevie Wonder, and Snoop Dogg, been recipients of 6 Grammy Awards; but he’s proudest of their growth as men and women. The centerpiece of the film is a conversation between two of Pullum students over the course of a decade. Despite tremendous odds, they find success, much of which they credit to Pullum’s influence.
