Obstacles | Pastor Jim Cymbala | Sunday Service | The Brooklyn Tabernacle
We are guaranteed hardships in our Christian lives. Friends will hurt and betray us—it happened to Jesus and Paul! We need to have spiritual maturity during trials. Obstacles in life don't mean that God has abandoned us. He always walks through the hard times with us, and He provides earthly friends to support us too. Thank the Lord for His faithfulness and for godly friends! What is Spanish Bridge? Spanish Bridge is an old stone bridge located over the White River, near the border of St. Ann and St. Mary parishes, close to Ocho Rios. It’s not a bridge used for cars or heavy traffic—more like a historical and recreational spot deep in nature. The bridge itself dates back to the Spanish colonial period, hence the name. ⸻ 🌊 Why It’s Popular • Crystal-Clear River: The White River is cool, clean, and flows gently in that area—perfect for a refreshing swim. • Cliff Jumping: There are natural platforms around the bridge for jumping into the river, a major attraction for thrill-seekers. • Rope Swings: Locals often set up rope swings from trees near the water, giving it a fun, adventure-park vibe. • Lush Surroundings: The area is full of trees, vines, and limestone rocks—very peaceful and “off the beaten path.” ⸻ 📜 History & Culture • The bridge is believed to have been built in the 1600s or 1700s, possibly by the Spanish or early British colonizers. • It served as a small river crossing, not a major highway, and now remains as a historic remnant of Jamaica’s colonial past. • Locals have used the spot for decades as a “country chill spot,” often for Sunday cookouts and relaxing. ⸻ 🧭 How to Get There • Located about 20–30 minutes outside of Ocho Rios. • Accessible via White River Valley, but the road can be rough and may require a local guide or a high-clearance vehicle. • GPS might not be 100% accurate; best to ask locals or use a local tour guide.

The Guardians of the Red Taiga | Free Documentary Surviving the Mountain that Eats Men - The Hell Miners of Potosí: https://youtu.be/kWoAg-8Q3Ic The Taiga, also known as the boreal forest, represents about 17% of the Earth's surface and has the highest density of rivers and natural springs in the world. In Mongolia, its primary forests and pure waters have kept an entire population nomadic on its lands for thousands of years. But for more than 30 years, the rich natural resources of these Mongolian lands have fallen prey to illegal hunters and miners, often from the local population. In just a few years, the country has witnessed an alarming collapse of its biodiversity. Faced with this worrying situation, the Mongolian Ministry of Environment created the "Red Taiga" Park in 2012, at the head of which it appointed ranger Jal Tumursukh. The mission of this former local hunter is now to enforce the law of environmental protection, whose objective is to put an end to illegal mining, but also to traditional practices of hunting and nomadism. A very delicate mission for a just cause to which the chief ranger is trying to rally more and more forest guards from the disgruntled local communities. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #mongolia ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by well-known filmmakers working for famous production studios.
