World’s Toughest Train Rides | Cuba: On Rusty Rails | Free Documentary World’s Toughest Train Rides - India: https://youtu.be/v-gTE-iZ8oo Cuba’s railway network may be dilapidated and unreliable but it offers a captivating journey through history and was one of the first countries to build a railway in 1837, to transport sugarcane during its peak as the world’s largest sugar producer. The journey begins on the Hershey line, Cuba’s only electrified railway, built in the 1920s by an American chocolate company. Traveling from Havana to Santa Clara reveals the challenges of aging infrastructure and the impact of the U.S. embargo. In Santa Clara, the site of Che Guevara’s 1958 victory showcases the historical significance of the railways. In Trinidad, visitors can ride a train once used to transport sugar while enjoying rum cocktails. A stop at a maintenance depot in Moron highlights how mechanics keep pre-Revolution locomotives operational despite limited spare parts. The adventure culminates in a thrilling ride on a 1920s steam locomotive through sugarcane fields, capturing the essence of Cuba’s railway history despite the challenges. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #trainride ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by well-known & respected filmmakers. Deadly Slum War | Brazil: Favela Frontlines | Free Documentary No-Go Zones - Hotoro Drug Wars: https://youtu.be/PNKxJ76Okms In this war, there are no winners. Through personal stories from people on both sides of the conflict and powerful footage, ‘Favela Frontlines’ takes you straight to the heart of the battle between police and drug traffickers in Brazil. On average, one policeman is killed every two days. There are 60,000 homicides every year. Interspersed with the stories are interviews with judges, journalists, slum residents and historians. They reflect on Brazil’s public safety policy of the past three decades, the impact of social inequality and the legacy of slavery. As sociologist Luiz Eduardo Soares explains: “Police brutality wouldn’t exist without tacit society authorisation.” For one gang member, it’s very simple. “When I was 10, they slapped me in the face. Now I carry a rifle. Now you can’t slap me in the face.” ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #favela ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by well-known filmmakers working for famous production studios. No-Go Zones | Nigeria: Hotoro Drug Wars | Free Documentary World's Most Feared Cartel - Inside Mexico's Sinaloa: https://youtu.be/bjEq3GB7zvg This film was shot on location in Hotoro, Kano with people who deal drugs and consume drugs, resulting in conflict. They are categorically not actors. Those who live in Kano or nearby areas confirmed the authenticity of our story, yet it’s still hard to grasp. There is a serious issue here -individuals, many of them barely out of childhood, are already high on various substances in broad daylight. Kano is undeniably a beautiful city, but the slums are battling a significant drug problem. What’s even more startling is how the drugs are brought into the city. The Godfathers aren’t your stereotypical criminals - they are individuals no one would ever suspect, an intricate web, that this film only scratched the surface of. What the crew experienced on this visit was unique and unexpected. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #gangwar ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. The Last Elephant Men of Cambodia | Free Documentary The Ice Walkers - Surviving on the Frozen Zanskar River: https://youtu.be/tIUl7sLuLWA For centuries, the Bunong indigenous people on the Cambodian-Vietnamese border lived with elephants, believing they shared the same destiny. Today as the forests and rivers are threatened, their fates seem even more inseparable. LAST OF THE ELEPHANT MEN follows several tribe members as they attempt to save the animal that once defined their way of life and may hold the key to their own survival. We see a range of experiences and stirring examples of local activism and courage. These stories are carefully interwoven to highlight the film’s key themes: the loss and meaning of homeland; the search for belonging; the fight for survival; and the struggle to adapt to radical change/loss of resources. From the splendid temples of Angkor Wat and the bustling city of Phnom Penh to a rarely seen wilderness paradise, we glimpse an eye-opening portrait of Cambodia’s disintegrating heritage, remarkable human-animal interaction, and indigenous people trying to find solutions to universal problems. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #cambodia ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. World's Deadliest Gang War | El Salvador: MS-13 vs Barrio 18 | Free Documentary Inside the Sinaloa Cartel: https://youtu.be/bjEq3GB7zvg With its beautiful Spanish colonial architecture and sandy beaches lined with restaurants, El Salvador has all the assets of a dream tourist destination. Yet foreign visitors are rare. The reason: this tiny state in Central America is one of the most dangerous countries in the world. Every year, between 3,000 and 6,000 people are murdered, with a population of only 6 million. Welcome to the world of the Salvadoran mareros, a ruthless universe where death punctuates daily life and where people murder for a fistful of dollars. Since the 1990s, the country has been torn apart by a violent gang war. Members of MS-13 and Barrio 18 fight a bloody war for control of the neighborhoods. Julio, one of the leaders of Barrio 18, opens up before the camera and lets us film the violent induction ceremony for a new member. We also meet Zorro, a hitman who committed some of the worst atrocities. For this documentary, the Salvadoran government also authorized us to enter the high-security prison of San Francisco Gotera. Inside, 1,700 gang members are held in deplorable conditions. From morning to night, the prisoners are subjected to evangelical religious conditioning and the sworn enemies of rival gangs must learn to cohabit in the same cells. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #gangwar ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by well-known filmmakers working for famous production studios. Europe's Deadliest Roads | Poland, Bulgaria & Spain | Free Documentary World’s Most Dangerous Roads - Georgia's Abano Pass: https://youtu.be/KSTi_YjCV1Q 00:00:00 Poland With over 2,000 road deaths in 2021, Poland ranks poorly in EU road safety, despite strict laws on blood alcohol limits. Excessive speed, irresponsible behavior, and drunk driving fuel the issue. Poland has tolls without barriers, with cameras automatically charging drivers since December 2021, but this “free-flow” system has led to numerous accidents, especially on the dangerous 700 km A4 motorway. Speeding, often linked to reckless “drifters,” remains a significant problem. To combat this, police use high-powered cars to track offenders. Penalties are steep, with fines reaching €1,000 since 2022 for repeat speeding violations. 00:51:00 Bulgaria Bulgarian roads have one of Europe’s highest death tolls, with two fatalities daily—double the rate in many EU countries. The Trakia highway is unsafe, recording 100,000 vehicles per hour despite poor maintenance and numerous potholes. The road averages 250 accidents and 42 deaths each month. In November 2021, Europe’s deadliest road accident in a decade occurred here, claiming 44 lives when a bus crashed and caught fire. Survivor accounts shed light on this tragedy. Corruption exacerbates the risks, with bribes used to bypass vehicle safety tests and evade penalties for speeding. We explore Bulgaria’s road safety crisis with access to police, emergency services, and victim stories. 01:45:33 Spain The AP9 and AP7 are among Spain's most dangerous roads. We filmed months of incidents here, from drunk drivers to runaway trucks and deadly fog-induced pileups. Albert and Jorge pursue a driver who nearly hit a policeman after evading a checkpoint. They soon find a man feigning unconsciousness beside his car, attempting to dodge questioning. The AP7, crucial for trade with ports like Barcelona and Valencia, is Europe’s busiest route for heavy goods. In 2021, 10% of fatal accidents involved trucks. Today, police find one 5,000 kg overweight—a hazard in windy conditions. Dense fog over 100 km adds to the risk. In 2014, it caused a 30-vehicle pileup, and today, Hector consoles a man whose family was injured in similar conditions. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #dangerousroad ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. World’s Toughest Train Rides | Bolivia: Railway to Nowhere | Free Documentary World’s Toughest Train Rides - Vietnam: https://youtu.be/AgahS_Tkjao Since the 1860s, Bolivia has gradually lost land to its neighbors, leaving the country landlocked and without access to coastal ports. In response, Chile and Brazil agreed to build railways connecting Bolivia to their coasts, but these routes have suffered from poor maintenance and underinvestment. Our journey follows the historic railways from the Brazilian Pantanal to the Chilean coast. The trip begins in Corumbá, Brazil, once Bolivian territory, and travels along Bolivia’s eastern railway, built to support the country's agricultural boom. Passing through Santa Cruz and Sucre, the journey reveals the challenges of Bolivia’s disconnected and underused rail networks, with many tracks abandoned and communities isolated. In some cases, people walk for days to reach operational stations. In Potosí, known for its silver mines, the railway remains essential for transporting minerals to the Pacific. Continuing through the Uyuni Salt Flats, the route highlights Bolivia’s mining legacy and its rich lithium deposits. The journey reaches La Paz, Bolivia’s administrative capital, where once-busy rail lines have been replaced by an expansive cable car system. From here, the final stretch travels from the highlands to the Chilean coast, overcoming high-altitude challenges and derailments, and illustrating Bolivia’s ongoing struggle to maintain its vital railways. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI Free Documentary Merch: https://bit.ly/3zpk3mj ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #trainride ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free. It’s a huge business, with more than 200,000 people in the region of Sinaloa alone, working directly or indirectly for organized crime. We gained exceptional access to several factions of the Sinaloa cartel. In the heart of a clandestine laboratory, the “cooks” showed us how drugs are manufactured and then concealed in vehicles to enter the United States illegally. An important leader of the cartel, protected by his heavily armed men, also agreed to meet with us and explain how the organization works for us. - Hired killers, like El Guero, show us their daily life as a sicario. Before each new mission, he prays to the goddess of death. As an offering, he offers him bullets, with the names of the people he is to kill on them. In the poor neighborhoods of Culiacan, money from drug traffickers turns heads, like Jamilet’s. The young woman does everything possible to seduce a drug lord as a means out of poverty. - Many boys like Luis, 17, are ready to drop out of school to become hitmen. But tragedies are numerous. In the last 15 years, the drug war has claimed the lives of more than 230,000 people in Mexico. 2019 broke all records with 35,000 murders. These tragedies make funeral directors happy: Santos runs from crime scene to crime scene trying to get funeral contracts. - With more than 50,000 people ‘disappeared’, Isabel is a “researcher of corpses”. Accounting for 2% of the country’s annual deaths, railway safety remains a major concern. During the Vietnam War, the network became a vital supply route but also a prime target for US bombing, with engineers working tirelessly to keep it operational despite repeated destruction. Stretching from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, the railway reflects the country’s turbulent history. It remains essential today, supporting industries, transporting market goods, and serving as a critical north-south connection, though still in need of upgrades. Wilderness Roads: Malawi | Forging Paths in the Most Remote Territories | Free Documentary Wilderness Roads - China: https://youtu.be/qEWFTAEwlEE Wilderness Roads - India: https://youtu.be/2wMRYQPj7iU In Malawi, a small state in southern Africa, the Phirilongwe Mountains are a very hard-to-access region. Isolated and cut off from the rest of the world, hundreds of villagers struggle to survive because most of them don’t have access to drinking water. The exhausting labor of gathering water is a question of life or death. Kurt Dahlin, an American pastor, who has been coming to Malawi for 20 years to dig wells, was distraught by this unbearable situation. This year, Kurt has taken on the challenge of helping the people of Phirilongwe, but the task is daunting. Without a road, it’s impossible for a truck carrying a drilling rig to reach the village. If they are to experience the life-changing gift of clean drinking water, the community must come together and carve out stretches of roadway through the heart of the African savannah. It’s a collective effort that could transform their future. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Subscribe to Free Documentary Channel for free: https://bit.ly/2YJ4XzQ Instagram: https://instagram.com/free.documentary/ Facebook: https://bit.ly/2QfRxbG Twitter: https://bit.ly/2QlwRiI ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #FreeDocumentary #Documentary #roadbuiding ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Free Documentary is dedicated to bringing high-class documentaries to you on YouTube for free with the latest camera equipment used by well-known filmmakers working for famous production studios.
